So the humble Reaper has 4 +5 vs. Light x2 damage, with +1 weapon upgrade this becomes 5 +6 vs. Light x2. They effectively get +4 against their preferred target from one upgrade.
I'm quite certain this wasn't the case before, and only the basic damage got upgraded.
For example an fully upgraded Viking does 46 damage against armored !
It seems that the damage that units can do late game with upgrades have been increased ,by quite a bit, but not the armor. The armor still increases by 1 for every unit per upgrade.
And also the max armor that a unit now starts of is 2 , and not 3 like in the original.
Which makes the armor upgrades kinda week and not so important compared to the damage ones.
I think that armor upgrades should increase the armor for some units more than just by one armor point per upgrade , so the armor upgrades become more efective and important.
They should be both useful . Weapon upgrades curently shot the damage throught the roof , where the armor is left way way back, no wonder unitsand buildings seem to just melt away.
Thoughts ?
