Or is there nothing much to say about this and the only way is just doing it and making a habit out of it?

So far the best tip i've heard from him considering positioning before big battles, and maybe even the best tip for micro overall was (and i'm sure this will sound like a no-brainer for BW players) this: To make a perfect arc you send your full group to the right'ish part of arc, when take the back and send it to the left side and then send the middle of the group to fill up the middle. (or was it left and right? well doesn't matter really) ...I've been implying this ever since i've heard it and it works like a charm. But let's say its TvZ and my opponent goes banelings when i have the standard marine marauder composition, i find it incredibly hard to keep marauders up in front. Do i need to do the same arc formation but with 2 different groups? Then how am i supposed to do that because i cant exactly box-select them seprately... i don't know maybe i sound like a retard with all this pondering, but i really find it hard (mainly because i don't have the balls to experiment on this stuff during a game) to think of the most optimal mechanics to perform best micro. So i guess what i'm asking for is some more step-by-step guidance.

He loads the replays by drag dropping them on sc2.exe. I just tried loading a recent replay and the minimap was there. If i load the same replay normally the minimap is black, so you might want to try out this method and see if that helps. Just make sure you load the latest patch replay, old version replays don't seem to work atm.

I remember you mentioning that you are looking for a sponsor, and I have an idea for you in the meantime while you're searching. That silver game analysis was such a huge hit because most of your audience is going to be around that level of play. You could charge individuals for a review of one of their personal games, instead of just pulling a random silver replay from the net. 1) You'd be getting paid for your effort (and you deserve to) 2) Traffic would increase, because even though the silver level players enjoy watching the great players fight eachother, the real improvements come from the analysis of other amateurs. I.E. I never really realized that the ~5seconds my drone is running to build that building was significant, and that he should already be in position the second I have resources ready. 3) Every customer you have will be further secured into your audience in the future. Just a thought. Depending on your price, I'd be willing to be your first customer. Shoot me a PM or whatever if you want to talk more.

In a way, we pay with our time every time we watch that ****ing 711 commercial before a blip cast (pick the green one and turn the sound off IMO). If he finds another sponsor, it will be similar. If he opened up his reviews of mid-low level players for free, he'd have a list 129847139 games long and no incentive to do it. Supply and demand. He's a great commentator and great player. People will be willing to pay for his time. I'd be more eager to load up a mid-level analysis that was paid for by a player, because I know Day9 would put in the extra effort to help a paying customer. It would at least be worth a trial. Maybe a short "special review" series to test it out. 5 games for 50$ to the first players who apply. I can almost guarantee all 5 spots sell in a day.
