Hey Day[9], I really love the streams that you do and I watch pretty much every single one. Recently the hilarious canadians at ROFLMAO Productions came out with the Pure Pwnage series for TV. (I highly suggest you check these episodes out). Anyways, the main character, Jeremy, reminds me of you and your epicness (except your a lot more successful in the real world). Anyways, I just wanted to bring that TV show to your attention to check out (the have a lot of starcraft references).
Also on a side note. I noticed in some of your streams, during the 5 minutes or so before hand, that you like to play music and most of the music is very relaxed electronic/post-rock. Just wanna share some music thats very similar Mogwai - Sine Waves

Hi Day [9], I just had an idea you may want to check out. Why don't you try to analyze a high-level Warcraft 3 game with starcraft terms and see that way what could be useful to borrow and implement into our new game SC2. We see allot of former WC3 players being very successful so i figured we can learn from their experience as well from the first game. Anyway your show is great, can't sleep because I can't stop watching :D.

I would imagine he didn't want to overlap with Triple Strike Team Cup. He would be the one to really understand this, and not try to fight over air time.
edited for tournament name.

He mentioned in the chat that he was having some technical problems.

I think a great idea would be a video on how to analyze replays. There are a lot of threads coming out today saying 'study your losing replays' 'study your winning replays' etc.. I saw Day9s 'Build Order' special series.. Imagine a similar set on Replay Analysis (of your own games).
1. Day 9 discusses the general methodology / framework for studying replays. The things to look out for. The things to do the first time you watch it / the second time you watch it, etc.
2. Day 9 takes a replay of a loss he did, and analyzes it as he is streaming.
This would help us all learn how to learn, and we could go away and get better, at our own skill levels..
The whole "can't teach a horse to fish' metaphor (heh).

Day9, thanks for all the casts! They've helped me improve my skills from a medium bronze to a top gold!!
Also I was wondering... if anyone (day9, FA, or anyone reading this thread) knows where to get or can provide good Terran replays? Anything post patch would be great

Actually he did I think 2 casts with C-D players talking about how to constructively critique your own replay in SC1. He also has a few episodes where he casts old (xellos so make that very old) games where he deos what you're asking for I think. Just FYI ^^
Jeez. What doesn't Day[9] cast. Not complaining though ^_^

come on day, upload the last two games please

PHEW Jinro vs Haypro up finally. My goodness technology has been hating on me all weekend lol
|
sweet gonna watch that now
|
Naz's PvZ awesomeness has been uploaded and the video is processing. I'll be constantly checking all of today to make sure it goes onto the on-demand RIGHT as it finishes .
|
At the questions in the end of the Jinro vs Haypro cast you got a question about its being unfair that zerg have to have a structure for each unit etc..
What didnt get brought up was that zerg can do surprizing switches by saving up larva/resources and suddenly having 10 mutalisks on the field and no other race can do it as effective as zerg!
|
can your next cast be a bunch of TheLittleOne's replays? This guy it outstanding and a lot of fun to watch. Keep up the awesome work btw.

As promised,
NAZGUL PVZ STYLE IS UP!
also, many questions have been building up in this thread. I think i'll be able to answer them soon but, for any of you who don't get your stuff answered, PM ME! I'm always read 100% of my PMs .
