The most diverse mirror match in HOTS

Fasho United States11 Posts March 12 2013 23:41 GMT #1 So I have been watching alot of streams in the last 24 hours or so and have been trying to figure out which mirror match is the most diverse in HOTS. Almost every high end game I have watched that was ZvZ was baneling/ling into muta. Terran seems to be reaper v reaper into bio and sometimes mech while pvp seems the most diverse so far. I was just wondering what others thoughts were on the state of the 3 mirrors and which is the most in depth.

kyllinghest Norway1607 Posts March 12 2013 23:47 GMT #3 Im pretty sure its gonna be tvt once more timings and builds are mapped out in all the matchups, but right now it seems like the msc is providing an easier economic foothold for protoss, and it is doing them a world of good.

Fasho United States11 Posts March 12 2013 23:54 GMT #4 TvT and PvP have changed quite a bit from what I can tell. ZvZ just already feels set in stone. I know the game is just now out but that's the first impression i'm getting.

Taronar Netherlands177 Posts March 12 2013 23:59 GMT #5 Where ZvZ was about good transitions and PvP was gamble play. I think we made a step in the right direction with posibility's. It's just a bit sad how the Voidray is to dominant in PvP (new colossus). ZvZ feels good right now with the addition of swarmhosts and vipers. However it's a bit more a gamble to pick that style. TvT feels solid as ever and is awesome to play and watch

DifuntO Greece2376 Posts March 13 2013 00:33 GMT #6 TvT is still a bit better because even if both players have the exact same composition it comes to positioning,use of the map,drops and all that and it's not whoever has the most mutas or voidrays wins. Although i have to say i've seen some really good ZvZs and PvPs.

Mellon Sweden917 Posts March 13 2013 00:42 GMT #7 I had high hopes for pvp, but until they nerf void rays i think it's gonna revolve around those. Sadly alot games are cannon rushes or proxy gates, and the ones that aren't are usually 1 base v 1 base still

FeyFey Germany10114 Posts March 13 2013 03:36 GMT #10 TvT is awesome, PvP is back at pre 4gate era with dts, proxy stargate and 3gate + msc (kinda the 4 gate). ZvZ is Muta vs Muta again (will stay there way longer then WoL did) So basically we have what we had when WoL got released haha, love it. Especially if you are able to hit Mutas with Infestors(I trained weeks for this in a custom) and know the weaknesses of the nerfed HotS Voidrays in PvP. But especially with the Map pool TvT becomes really diverse as there are bio and mech only and both works maps.
