HotS is Telling me that I have starter edition

MindSoup United States7 Posts February 17 2013 16:40 GMT #1 Recently, I logged onto starcraft2 HotS on my laptop while I was on vacation, and when hit multiplayer, It alerted me that I must upgrade to full version of the game, and that I was only allowed to play terran. I'm not sure exactly what is going on, because when I logged into WoL as well, It said that I had the starter edition, which clearly isn't right, because I'm Masters zerg and have been playing for years now. I looked on forums to see if anyone was having the same issue but didn't have that much luck. If anyone has had or fixed this problem before, I would appreciate it greatly if you shared. Thanks a bunch, MindSoup (P.S. sorry if this is in the wrong thread category, couldn't really decide what to classify it as )

I can't for example reach level 30 with protoss because of my edition. However, the solution for my was that it was some sort of bug since more people had it as well. I'm not too sure about yours.

It is weird because I even tried copying the game off my desktop and running it on this computer and it worked on the desktop but not here. Not sure if it is something with the computer which wouldn't make sense, but I guess it is still possible. Maybe it could be that im running windows 8 ,where as I ran windows 7 on my desktop, but no one else is getting the issue Any other tips?
