HotS via Amazon, but I want to play March 12th

I ordered HotS on Amazon and the earliest it can arrive is March 14th. Does anyone know if Amazon can e-mail me the Activation Code in the mean time? I want the box, but I also want to play on launch day.

How are they going to e-mail you the activation code when the activation code is in a box? Sorry, wont be able to play until March 14th. Only other way around this is to buy a digital copy of HotS......which is what I am doing.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I was hoping maybe the codes might be on a list with product id bars and Amazon could maybe e-mail it to me, but so much could easily go wrong there. I just canceled my order and pre-ordered for in-store pickup at Game Stop. Thanks man.

This is exactly why I passed on the $10 off coupon for pre-ordering through NewEgg that was going on for a while. They ship the game on release day so the wait will be several days if you pay the standard shipping. I plan on pre-ordering at Best Buy.

Supposedly if you get 2 day shipping from Amazon you will get it on release day.

I have preordered many a game from Amazon and I can confirm they have all arrived on the day of release without fail. YOu will be murdering fools on the ladder March 12th.

I ordered d3 on amazon and got it delivered release day even though it said 2 days after release day. For these games you will get it on release day.

amazon usually delivers on release day. Probably even before release date - you won't be able to play until the servers go live anyway.
