They're different. That's their primary attack.
Infested Terrans are supposed to be a spell on a SUPPORT caster. Not a caster who can summon an unbeatable army whenever they have energy.

Previously, 2 lings attacking a marine at equal upgrades would do 5.4dps. Now the marine will tank both of them while healing. If you crash into his army of marines with some medivacs over you need 3 or more lings of surface area per marine TO DO ANY DAMAGE AT ALL.
Im not complaining in light of zvt imbalance previously, but DAMN, this is probably the biggest buff in the history of sc2, this will be incredibly underestimated, its almost completely game breaking in every matchup You forget that the medivac is money and supply. 2 lings shouldnt able to beat 1 marine backed with a medivac. In BW 1 medic could outheal a lurker hitting a marine for a long time. My point is, if you cant surround the marines you literally cant do damage to them. If you run into a wall of marines on for example cloud kingdom in a tight area, you can only fit 2 lings attacking each marine - they have marines to the left and right of them, more lings dont fit. You can only attack most of them with 2 lings, so the effective damage the terran army is taking from pure ling if you have a sizeable number of medivacs (10-15, flash will have orgasm when he see's this) will be almost zero.
Use fungal, banelings, blinding cloud, hydras. Dont expect to kill marines backed up with tier2 in a decent number. You can still kill a reasonable amount with them, and 1 medivac heals only 1 marines at the time.

I'm really happy that blizzard is looking at buffing terran a lot. Since we aren't getting that many new units in hots, it's the only way terran can stay even with the other races. Plus, it adds lots of cool new strategies and opportunities! Loving the patch overall, the specific tweakings can be worked out later.

Wow, the Thor changes are amazing. I think they are really promoting positional play with mech now = ).
Maybe now a handful of Thors wont be a pain to look at when they clump up now too.

To make the new medivac not OP, the healing upgrade should requires armory or fusion core.

I kinda like this patch, I think we should just be happy that blizzard is willing to change the game this much at all. Given their recent track record of listening more closely to the community I think this is a huge step in the right direction, even if all these changes end up failing. The last thing I want is to be playing is a dead and stale game.

There is a strong chance he was better at Starcraft than you and that is the reason you lost.

This is by far the best patch the game has ever gotten. Broodwar was filled with OP shit that if all Blizzard did was change the engine from BW to SC2 and kept all the stats and units the same that every 12 year old diamond babby would cry their way home. BW was fun and interesting because so many units were insane and unique, now SC2 has finally been broken of the Kiddie sized units and "don't make it too OP or people might cry" mindset to make a truly fun and interesting game.

He's mad that someone 50-100 times better than him won. Pretty sure some random nobody beating greg would be more of an indication than imbalance than IdrA beating a nobody.
