Yeah, I agree.

It could also be to encourage more banelings like we saw before Infestor/Ling became popular. Banelings will still demolish Marines when they connect.

Yes it was, every Zerg just made roaches/swarmhosts to pressure/survive, then Hydras to get more DPS and get Vipers later on, and every matchup got solved, and they could do that while they had 4-5k in the bank, beating maxed out P or T armies with a lots of tanks (hello blinding cloud) and abduct made colossi look silly. It was really funny to have an army as terran (i played againts Idra like 3-4 games on ladder for example) and he just rolled a 200/200 2-2 terran army with 2-2 roach/hydra backed up with 4-5 fully charged viper (hello consume) not even losing half of his army. My army was spread out to negate blinding cloud's effect, but even then my tanks werent shooting at all and i just witnessed that he just murdered my army with an army which has 5k less army value.

Phoenix buff is kinda huge in pvz imo cos now it's even less unlikely that zerg will go muta also u may or may not have a chance to snipe vipers late game. Also huge in pvp. People are going to start using phoenix even more cos the harras is going to become easier. Also armory upgrades for ground and air i don't like at all. Will make TvP really hard for protoss. Terran will basicly use hellbats/marauder/marine/speed medivacs to do insane drops and i don't even know how they're going to die with the buffed healing, also tanks are going to be used probably every game to force engagements and do massive damage on the front lines. The Dt shrine i also have mixed feelings for. Maybe with the new mothership core it's will be easier to deflect in pvp but still idk. fenix dt might be potent we'll see.

Overall rating 5/10
Reason: I feel zerg's getting buffed more and more despite the infestor which is getting tuned down as it should have been a long time ago. Also the mixed upgrades for terran mech/air is a bad idea imo. If they're going to to that protoss shields upgrade should be: 1. Removed so armor works for shields too. 2. Moved in the twilight council with a lower cost then now so u can actually double upgrade and it should be 1/2 of the cost of normal upgrades since shields are less and the investment isn't worth for the big fights. 3. Should be revamped and also moved to the TC and should give some kind of an effect. Maybe even a one time upgrade like. When out of combat protoss shields reg + w/e amount. Or reduce the damage/effect from spells by #%.

P.S. Zerg doesn't need more buffs blizzard and terran bio is op as it is now so be careful what u'r doing....


Writes an entire paragraph about the HotS changes and gives it a 5/10.

Guys, everyone seems to be missing the really important thing about Thors:

Since Strike Cannons are gone, Thors can no longer be feedbacked, making them much better in TvP.

I would like to see Trample and Shield for Ultralisks if they're removing the awesome Burrow Charge. Trample as in stepping over Zerglings, Roaches and Drones like Collosi. Shield as in Zerglings, Roaches and Drones they step over don't take damage (or maybe only Splash damage). That'd be a cool buff to see how broken it might be.

You forget that the medivac is money and supply. 2 lings shouldnt able to beat 1 marine backed with a medivac. In BW 1 medic could outheal a lurker hitting a marine for a long time.


My point is, if you cant surround the marines you literally cant do damage to them.

If you run into a wall of marines on for example cloud kingdom in a tight area, you can only fit 2 lings attacking each marine - they have marines to the left and right of them, more lings dont fit. You can only attack most of them with 2 lings, so the effective damage the terran army is taking from pure ling if you have a sizeable number of medivacs (10-15, flash will have orgasm when he see's this) will be almost zero.

This patch is shit. There is so much imba in it blizz will realize it soon enough ... or not mb when its too late and game is lunched hope they are not that stupid

Maybe this might encourage some defensive Hydra use in ZvT hehehe, especially with Hyrda speed now at Lair tech.
