only 4x Zerg against any combination of extrem AI opponents is missing and i'm clueless as to how to approach it. if i let the opponent pick a zerg he'll get superfast roaches (gotta love the cheating ai^^) and i#m toast. a terran's bioball gets very strong early on, protoss seems kidna okish but i don't seem able to break it. i mostly played on seperated bases, but i guess it's time to play on a shared base map, even if their ecos will start to kick off.
Shared base. ZZZZ vs ZZZZ is probably the best bet. Cheese one Z, 6-7 pool and spine with lings, slows one of them down enough. Then mass request resources from your allies and muta kill them. Might not work now, but did at release when I did it.
just build an extractor or a hatch in the middle of all of them so their workers go for you, and then cancell when they are close. rinse and repeat untill your teammates kill them
ok i did it the following way: only thing which was useful was the canceling/rebuilding extractor, everything else came too late for me, it also doesn't help that the insane ai on my team is always 10x dumber than theirs

what I was thinking too. the AI is stupid to pull everyone's worker towards a single thing.
It will definitely help but be sure to watch it. Just keep cancelling at the last second or two. Don't lose your drone..
I haven't got the terran one yet but I do have the zerg.
Send 2 drones out at the start to different bases to build extractors. Keep cancelling them and rebuilding. The enemy drones literally spend all their time attacking and not mining.
That allows your 3 AI buddies to get a good lead while you do this. Then I teched to mutas and just ran around econ harassing.
To my knowledge it is possible to just rely on their protection while either massing up or teching up, both with a quick expand. This is how I did it iirc. The chances of 3 against 4 insane to actually survive just as long as necessary until the player is ready to assist are not as bad actually, like 50%. This means it's no certain victory using that tactic, but like 1/2 or 1/3 perhaps, enough to call it realistic chances.
Advantages: On map on Megaton for example, AI often tends to stray around on the map, and as a player one can decide where to confront. This often leads to a numerical advantage, because you can jump in whereever necessary while AI roams around weirdly and often don't unite their armies properly. This means once the player got a sufficient armies to roughly keep up with the current insane player armies, 3 AI+player got the advantage. Especially on Megaton it is not that hard to deny them expansions either, while expanding yourself.
Choice of units: Doesn't really matter for this. Mass Roach and later hydra will do, just like Infestor tech or Mutalisks, which can harass quite effectively and keep your opponents at their base as well as jumping into fights.
However: Don't approach this without sufficient macro. I'ld say it roughly requires the same macro as campaign on brutal for example.
I went ZZZZvPPPP (although prolly works vs all terran as well, not sure about all zerg) on Forbidden Planet and basically tried to 6pool rush one of them but that failed so I expanded and transitioned to banelings (with speed). Since I rushed the guy closest to me, my AI team mates decided to attack it as well and they took him out (with me assisting with like 6 zerglings :D) so i expanded again to his natural and his main. from there, 4 bases, 4 queens lots of overlords and a ton of banelings did the trick, killed off the rest in about 10mins. Not sure if I was just lucky but it was dead easy. All i did was let my AI team mates charge in with their units and fight while i rolled in with banelings and killed all the pylons and workers. Hope that helps.
For the Kin match ups, instead of doing 6 separate games, I did 3 games and cleared both achievements, the match ups I did were
me ------- AI ZZZZ vs PPPP (the computers usually do the pool->roach rush and overpoewr one of the computers. expand after the initial roach rush) PPPP vs ZZZZ (the computers usualy do the 2 gate zealot push and outnumber a computer, this automatically gives you a 4v3 edge if you push out and secure it with them) TTTT vs TTTT (this one is a bit tricky because i did a 3 barracks reaper into expand into 6 barracks reapers and just harrass the shit out of the computers until you eventually kill everything with mass reapers)
Do this 3x for the Hard/Very hard/Insane computers and you get youreslf six achievmenets in 9 games.

This is what i did super easy and after i was done extractoring i just droned and pooled my money to allies since they had tech super super easy!!
I think I did the ZZZZ against ZZZZ on Megaton. Allies did the standard roach rush, enemies the same while I just rushed to mutas. My allies were 3v4 of course, but it still took a long time for them to get pushed all the way back. Once I had mutas I could harass and make the enemy run home and all that sort of abusive jazz
You don't have to rush anything. Restart until you spawn in a protected position, and build nothing but drones and mutalisks. Attack workers, but don't ever engage an army, however small. Your allies will lose the first 3v4 battle, but they won't die, and your harass messes with the AI so much your allies just steamroll them eventually. Might need to turn graphics settings down for your computer to handle it though.
PPPP vs TTTT: cannon rush. transition into mass voidrays, requesting ressources from your allies repeatedly. super easy.
TTTT vs PPPP: 1/1/1 banshee build, harass the shit out of them while getting a few bases and an upgraded force of whateverthefuckyouwant, also easy.
ZZZZ vs ZZZZ: 6pool with a spine crawler, i killed one guy straight away, then did tons of damage on a second one while teching to mutas, again requesting money. wasn't hard either.
I went ZZZZ vs ZZZZ on megaton, FEd to the gold, and pumped roaches/spines while I rushed to broods. They don't scout the gold till it way too late, so its generally safe. Then they just attack the broodlings. I kept a few corruptors with the broodlords in case they make air in time.
I did all 3 without any form of All-In cheese in the beginning. It's actually pretty easy all the way through. You let your AI mates do the fighting and concentrate on destroying enemy expansions. On Megaton this means simply splitting your army in half and regularly attack the northern and southern expansions. I used cloaked Banshees as T, DT's as P and Mutas as Z. I'll upload all 3 replays just in case anyone ius interested
