lol, but yea, there were tons of artistic interpretations of orig SC1 stuff that didn't look like anything in the game (maybe something designed but eh, we're dealing with actual predictions, not scrapped ideas.) | ||

The zerg art doesn't mean there's a new baneling-like unit on the way, or that banelings will have an upgrade in HotS. I'd give it overwhelming odds that it means before they settled on a look for the baneling in Starcraft 2, they played around with it a bit and wound up with several conceptual drawings. | ||
