Havens fall spoiler + Show Spoiler + you only get the 3 research points if you side with selendis. siding with hanson gets you the zerg tech | ||

I still only have access to 20 of the missions, and I've had more than 3 extra protoss tech. You definitely should be able to get the full 25. + Show Spoiler + Did you finish the protoss side-campaign? That campaign gives a decent chunk of both research types. I hit 25 in both trees after finishing that campaign. | ||

You are absolutely able to get both to max. There is even an achievement and portrait for getting full research on both zerg and protoss. | ||
