Ungarrison all bunkers and move your SCVs all over the base a few seconds before the end. They autorepair any damaged structures long enough for the cutscene to complete. If you are on a harder difficulty setting, you may need to lift off your barracks wall so that it doesn't get targeted.

After 3 full retries, I was getting sure it was bugged--but then I figured, if buildings could possibly get destroyed during the cutscene... Better try once being as safe as humanly possible. I finally tried it building any new turrets and supply depots only where it could be seen in the cutscene (and staying on 2 racks for the duration due to lack of space). I also stationed squads of M&M by the refinery, the turret out of view in the cutscene, and the starting supply depots, plus 10 or so SCVs (it's still easily doable at the front). This time it worked. So I suspect a nydus worm pops up in a location many people build a supply depot, and that doesn't show in the cutscene. But could just be bugged, it's just a guess.

mh i always thought its the white buildings... i also had 1 building destroyed and on my next run i saw that lings in the first wave killed one building but didnt attack any other building. so i killed them with my small force and had 0 losses... i only paid attention on normal to get achievment, though. not sure if they destroy more buildings on brutal or if they even count :/
