Anthony Davis wasn't good, almost all of his points came from Free Throws off of a lot of ticky tack fouls. KCP had 1 point. Danny Green hit 2 3's (2-8) in the whole game. Kuzma was heating up at the end of the third start of the fourth and then Vogel pulls him out to put KCP and Danny Green back in the game. I mean seriously our box score is pathetic and it doesn't surprise me watching this team all year long.

I mean seriously our box score is pathetic and it doesn't surprise me watching this team all year long. Its pretty aberrant that all those things happen in the same game from my POV. Even so Davis had 28. Kuzma had 14, Green had 10. These are all not bad numbers for players that are the 2-4 options on a team. Its just that the rest of the team was totally useless, which is unexpected when you see Lebron with 15 assists. If you want to argue that the Lakers are not getting the best out of Danny Green, I could not agree with you more. He is the perfect non-star player for the modern NBA, and his entire season has befuddled me (particularly because I think he should be a perfect fit for LBJ). Something is afoot with the Danny Green season, either the coach isn't utilizing him properly (low chance, I think Vogel's Indiana run shows hes way above average), he has significantly declined (again low % because why has it been from the jump) or he has bad juju with LBJ or AD.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/29692854/raptors-masai-ujiri-countersues-video-shows-officer-initiated-shoving-19-finals-aftermath The county is also suing the cop for the wages he made when he was "recovering" from an on the job "injury" that Ujiri allegedly caused. Alls I gotta say is.. Ujiri is a top notch, 1st class human. The cop? not so much. Championship winning Court-Rushes and Field-Rushes involve a shit-tonne of pushing and shoving. Its a reality of the situation. Its even part of the fun. The cops reaction in the days, weeks, and months , afterwards is the problem. He shoved Ujiri. He shouldn't have... all he has to do is acknowledge a 0.5 second lapse in judgment. All it was .. was a shove in the middle of a court-rush that involves 2323848327 minor shoving incidents. Ujiri is extraordinarily diplomatic. Ujiri would've made a deal with the cops. But, nope, the cop decided to die on that June 13th hill over almost nothing. The media begged Ujiri to play the race card in 87 bazillion interviews. Ujiri declined to do so. For many months Ujiri gave the cops a viable exit strategy from this embarrassing incident. The cops declined to take it. What a bunch of fucks.

Portland too if not for the Rona delay. TBH I am watching less NBA than ever. When I fell out of the habit, I just never got back into the habit. I think this is probably key for NFL/CFB. Leagues that don't, essentially, feed their addicts, will lose a lot. Its like you have this habit of watching a sport, and if that habit breaks, you can stop without really experiencing any sort of loss. For me, the NBA stopped being a habit and I watched backlogged Netflix things I had saved like Bleach and Soul Eater instead. And now the NBA is back... and I still watch the replacements primarily. I watch games much more selectively now, basically 1 game every few days, last year I'd watch the whole ESPN or TNT broadcast. Now I don't feel any urgency.
