Better performance when angry... "... get mad you son of a bitches get mad ..." + Show Spoiler +
another common reference to players improving when angry... "don't poke the bear"

i think you might have missed the point.
As an athlete, I understand your point Raynor. I think it is definitely a performance enhancer for some men. Personally, it does help my performance, although I'm not so sure it does for most women. Thinking back on my softball career, it was harder to get my teammates fired up in anger.

For context here, originally, i was discussing improving the performance of men in a wide range of situations including hitting a baseball in 1910 and selling real estate in the 1990s. "get mad you son of a bitches get mad" was the quote i believe.
When Lowry gets pissed off the famous quote is : "Don't Poke The Bear".

Meh. Where is the evidence that this is a good idea? Jordan's team has been pretty bad. I don't think a KG group is, frankly, rich enough to be a good ownership group in the NBA.
He's going to be a figure head. I'm guessing he's not going to chip in more than 10 million. His net worth is listed as $120 million and the price will be around $120 billion. At the least he can be a good community outreach/public relations person.

Lowry's performance improves when he gets angry. Not sure it has anything to do with Durant.
i watched bol bol for about 5 minutes the other day and i was scared about how his knees looked like they would just collapse and snap. his knees look like kenny's smith's, and kenny is like 60.
i tried to watch an NBA game... and i just can't do it. we had sub zero weather almost all of April and into the 2nd week of May. Then the Covid lockdown continued. i need to be outside amongst grass, trees, animals and humans when I'm not working. I can't sit inside and watch basketball in July and August. Maybe I'll watch in September.

meh, he is ok with young players. He is a bad team prez and a bad GM. the farther he gets away from being an assistant coach dealing with the day-2-day inner workings of the team.. the worse he is.
Thibs is ok as a head coach. The Knicks are a terrible org so they'll a little less horrible because they have an average head coach.
