My first thought as well. Could be a DSQ in that case. He might have stopped before he ran out of fuel as well tho, just as a precaution.

Just finished watching F2 as well. + Show Spoiler +Man it's difficult to be a Hauger fan. I understand how Ferrari fans feel right now

Entertaining race, and extremely good for my fantasy team lol. Somehow lucked my way into #295 worldwide. Most people in front have the same roster but different x2 and x3 usage. It's all downhill from here I'm sure.

F1 is back. And its red flags galore as usual in Baku,
|
Not the most decisive race control I've seen so far

Another day of "It's hard to be a Hauger fan"

The F2 crashes and red flags make up for the boring Baku race tho
Verstappen getting his medicine from Russel of what he did to Hamilton previously was also interesting to watch. See every WDC mature into a safer driver while complaining about the newer upstarts is a rite of passage

See every WDC mature into a safer driver while complaining about the newer upstarts is a rite of passage Hmm, I don't completely agree with this. Russell under steered his front wheel into Verstappen's side pod, a move that definitely deserved criticism. Wheel banging or dive bombing where the opponent has room to avoid contact is not exactly the same thing. Besides, do these drivers really "mature" all that much? They all want to win and the moment that becomes harder they'll start to take more risks again. I mean Hamilton punted opponents even during his period of dominance. The thing is, both he and Verstappen were penalized for (most of) those, this particular misstep wasn't even noted by race control.
I do agree of course that the position Verstappen is in now makes him view things more like how Hamilton did before. But I think a better example for your point is when Verstappen was forced on the kerbs by Hamilton in Australia.

It's a simple mistake, and he even apologized after. Verstappen continuing the shit throwing afterwards, and then the fans, as if every driver on the grid doesn't do mistakes like these all the time, is really grinding my gears

Come on tire deg, do your thing, make this race a bit more interesting please
|
Yeah, this is predictably a proper snooze fest so far. Even through a chaotic set of pit stops, and practically every car clunking the wall at some point, nothing has happened. Says a lot when the most interesting to have happened in the entire race was George going slightly side by side into the pits, and Alonso making one opportunistic overtake after the restart
|
HURRAY, AN OVERTRAKE! Good on you Norris
|
To make this race averaging out to be interesting we need a red flag and a restart where everyone forgets to reset their brake magic at this point oooooffff...
Well at least Leclerc is getting podiums again which is good to see
|
well that was interesting. not what I want to see though (the Alpine pit thing)
|
FIA track management.... Ocon had to drive through a sea of people to pit

Yeah, interesting end to the race, but for all the wrong reasons
|
Is that mega pop star Charles Leclerc being interviewed there!?
|
|
A bit more interesting than the last one because of the start positions but not by much. Good race by Max.

The Imola GP has sadly been cancelled. Which means next up is yet again a street circuit that will more than likely bring a very boring race - Monaco! Even though my favourite driver/team is having a great time, this season is shit.
