its great having some guy tell me my life story.
played lots of sports. as soon as you see contact the play begins. players make instantaneous decisions every game. some are right and some are wrong. you keep replying.
i'm discussing the events at the end of the game.... if you want to become overly confrontational for no reason and turn it into a hostile argument... have fun.
it'll be interesting to see if the NBA apologizes for this. when ross turns to look in the direction of the clock there is 1.0 seconds on the clock. Had the clock been at 0.1 the game is over. Had the clock been at 0.2 the chance of Ross getting off a shot is almost 0. Had it been 0.3 . So it goes back to my original point that the time between Cousins touching the ball and the clock actually starting is critical to knowing for certain if the officials made an error in ending the game.
If Ross turns and sees the clock at ~0.3 rather than 1.0 seconds he heaves a super quick shot and misses and the game ends.
characterizing the end game events as ...

is a stretch. Ross put himself in either an impossible or almost impossible situation to tie the game when he turned to make the 25+ foot shot. We won't know whether it was "impossible" or "almost impossible" without knowing how many tenths of a second elapsed between Cousins contact and the clock starting. If its more than 0.7 seconds or more the Raptors have nothing to complain about. If its less than 0.5 seconds then indeed the Raptors got fucked and Ross' in game shot should've counted.

But you with the aid of video and time are not sure if it was the right call or not? Perfect JimmyJ logic. Ross watched the ball get tipped and reacted to the ball being tipped. He knows the clock is running.

To be the best in the world you have to carry your team to victories. Like Lebron used to do in his first run with Cleveland.
Why must you do this to me?

your quotes things are off here. you said you were not going to argue this. LOL.

hey what about the clock that was at 27.2 seconds and then the kings got a 24 sec violation but only 2.4 seconds remained on the clock for ross? 27.2 - 24 = 2.4?

We never had that Jimmi vs Jimmy challenge did we?

Are you still running with that "Point Guards can't be the best player on a championship team" stuff?

Well, its still a very good default position.
But mostly I like Ryan Anderson' a grumpiness.

True, but I'm waiting for some paperwork and you are getting even more ridiculous with each post. I do love the classic JimmyJ uhoh I'm caught in saying different things in a really short period of time better completely move the target! Never change, and I feel confident you can't lol. my opinion never changed. you half read my stuff. the raptors didn't get robbed under the conditions i stated before you entered the convo and i've restated that twice.
you filibuster about how i refuse to change my position then you filibuster when i do change my position.

Ross was not looking at the clock. Ross is supposed to know what the clock says before the play starts... that way he can watch the ball and the defenders and not watch the clock. Which is why Ross is not watching the clock.

lol, i've already posted everything about this topic. you just half read my stuff. and i've explained how the delay between the deflection and the clock starting is critical.
no need to assume just watch the replay on Sportsnet.

this is awesome stuff here... "It’s the most-watched few seconds of video since Abraham Zapruder was rolling on John F. Kennedy’s motorcade."

The sad thing is... we may never know the real truth.
