thank god zlatan saved us. pogba was having one of the worst games ive ever seen from him, and thats excluding the freak handball incident. even more frustrating because even with everyone underperforming and missing chances in front of goal liverpool looked pretty overwhelmed

Super intense game indeed. Shame that it was an offside goal though.

Think Lovren played Valencia onside. Was very close though

City has top players, its just really hard to play the way he want them to play. Note Barcelona is also struggling this year and they layed off the style a fair bit, its just really hard to play. Thats his problem to take care off though, he will have to figure it out.

Also 10 million other things wrong here but been there, explained that cba anymore.

So the top4 is going to change a lot after all. Did not expect that after such top games from Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and City till December

Really needed the win today, 16 game unbeaten streak, still 6th. Pogba needs to be dropped after performances like this.

Zidane is an idiot. 40 games RM plays attacking football without losing... All of a sudden he decides that his team should play with 9 defensive players and only 2 pure attackers... And loses the game. Like WTF ?
Instead of beating Sevilla 3 or 4 to 0, after they wasted so much effort in Copa Del Rey, RM decided to play it "safe".

Was pretty clear offside. Linesman was just out of position and could not see it.

I wish the game would have ended in a tie. Both teams played so bad, neither really deserved to win. The 2 Sevilla goals were almost gifted to them.

No, I'm glad we lost. Now I hope that I will never see Real playing in this dreadful 5-3-2 formation again. Everytime I see a team playing with 5 defenders I hope they lose, it's something that I can't control.
And of course Sevilla played bad... They gave everything in the Copa game 4 days ago. All Real had to do is to capitalize on that.

4-0 wow. Didn't watch the match, but was City as bad as the scoreline seems to indicate?

They had posession, had a few shots none that stood out as great chances. Should had a penalty at 0-0 tbf in the 12th minute. Other than that just countered and look awful at back.
First goal sums city up. Give ball away inside half, goal 1-0 down, trying to overplay

Thanks. So quite typical City defending but this time it went along with a poor attacking performance.

Pep was good at enforcing a certain playstyle that worked well during his peak at Barcelona. But when it was somewhat figured out, or he didn't have the players to play that unique style of football, he's completely lost. City was his first test outside of his comfort zone because let's be fair any manager with half a brain could have won the Bundesliga with that squad and virtually no competition, and he's showing what's he's made of. I don't think he'll bow out just yet even if City drops out of top 4 this season. Hope he can come back with some good summer transfers because if he can make City into 50% of what he did to Barcelona, the next season will be very interesting indeed.

I think one of the most prudent observations he made in an interview a while back was that sure hes won alot etc etc. But its not normal to win all the time. He knew what he had before and what he has now and he knows that there is a good chance it wont work here and people will say hes not that great.

Being a good manager isnt about never failing which literally no manager in history has done, will do or should ever do. Hes not going to go anywhere, he has a contract for 3 years and he has a project that he wants to work on, if it takes a little longer it takes longer but im pretty sure he will see it through regardless of the results. Whether they keep him if a top 4 finish fails though is a different matter.

So everytime people say shit like, well hes not really that good or "I dont rate him" the second he starts to lose it gives me a headache to read

Its the same as with Messi and Ronaldo they get held to these inhumane standards and then when those arent met then all of a sudden there is no layering or grey. Thats where all the Messi only good cuz Xavi and Iniesta or other shit comes from also. Its all from the same place. Ignorance and people chomping at the bit for a hint of failure to simply discredit anything good someone they dont like has done. Its actually quite depressing.

I told people Pep is not good while he was winning stuff. I get headaches from people like you who call him good for no reason at all :p

When English speakers say Real, it always trigger me so much. In Spain "la real" is Real Sociedad so I always think in the Basque team xD
