Depends on which version of our QB shows up and if we can get healthy somewhat. I can see it being a close game but we're the best in the country in 4th quarter scoring, so if we can keep it close until then, we have a good shot. With Cethan Carter and Westerkamp back, we have a better chance. 7 points is lower than many probably thought 2-3 weeks ago.

I have a brilliant Idea to decide ties after 2 OT's without any plays from most players and in a way thats great for TV and has been proven to be a success in other sports as well.
Now hold on and hear me out.
+ Show Spoiler +Penalty field goals. Each team starts at the 20 yard line and you start with a coin flip. The winner gets to choose either the side of the field to kick that round or to kick second. this alternates every round from then on. every round you go up 5 yards at a time until you're at 50 yards and then you just keep going until someone misses.

Well. Shit. At least we got Westerkamp. He's our version of Amendola or Edelman. He'll go through the middle and he catches damn near anything thrown close to him. He'll be a good asset.
I feel like we have a good shot to win honestly. Your thoughts?

Hard to see either team winning by more than 7. With Wisconsin playing it should be a slow low scoring game. Would probably pick Wisconsin to win since it's in Camp Randall but Nebraska to cover
They've only broken 25 points twice this year which was against a bad MSU team and Akron so that's probably close to the magic number of what Nebraska would need to win. Maybe even closer to 20 tbh
Never been too high on Tommy Armstrong but apparently he's been good this year. If your 4th q offense keeps up it's a winnable game. Just honestly haven't seen enough of Nebraska to know for sure. Seen enough of Wisconsin to know that you're not facing a very good QB but a very solid defense. Corey Clement is going to be fed to eat up clock

I'm gonna say 34-21 Nebraska. We pull away in the 4th.
I feel the same way about Armstrong. He has potential; good speed, canon for an arm. But his decisions on passing when falling back and scrambling too early forces him into some difficult situations. Newby and the rest of the backfield will need to be hitting the holes and getting us 4-5 yards a carry to move the ball.
Clement will get his. Very talented. Hornibrook is decent but not scary to face like Blough or Barrett. I think we can get enough pressure on him to allow the D to make plays. We have 12 INTs this season and a couple of PDs as well. Their defense is stellar, but I'm relieved Cinchy won't be there (too bad he got hurt). He was a monster against OSU

I like ties and defensive struggles. What I don't like is how few people have abandoned the Russell Wilson hype train.

It was a pleasure watching Arian Foster run. I hope the new guys can match his output. Happy trails Foster.
