Yeah the beautiful thing about Arsenal is that they are just that "one" signing away from being legit contendors but that never seem to happen.
I think a few years ago he year Arsene got Ozil et al, splashed a bit of money and it failed hes basically gone into a shell.
Fergie was a boss in that respect. He didnt care if he made mistakes, he just figured it out. He kept at it till it worked. So what if he got a few flops. He would spend till he got it right. If it was just a matter of 1 or 2 players being the key he would get them eventually and in enough time.

tbh you could say the same for man utd atm this is the worst ive seen the team play since i started following football. we have pretty much identical game scores to liverpool too lol even points though. next game man utd vs liverpool will be match of the season already haha
