They are pretty forgiving of that sort of thing if its done sort of in a pleading way in that region. But hes pushing his luck for sure.
This game needs halftime so I can catch my breath.

Why would you card him for that handball :SS. Does it look like he tried to punch that back in ? Last match he already got a weird yellow card.

And that card looked like bs, even if he went for the ball that was way to sudden to be intent and not reflex.

That was not a card, but I'm already acquainted with this ref so I'm not surprised.

problem with national teams tourneys is that we watch them right after champions league and obv they cant be compared to clubs
not that anyone is comparing them, i'm just saying that hardly any national team looks solid imo. except during a world cup the finalists usually are decent after staying roughly 1,5 month together

Qatar WorldCup will solve that with mid-season Christmas games!

I don't favor any team and just watch this sport because I like it, but on the other hand, Neymar's ridiculous yellow card is the reason why I try to avoid watching this sport.
I watched the replay -- could someone please explain how any human being could possibly react fast enough to avoid that unintentional hand ball? The commentators mentioned that the ref didn't see it and instead reacted to Colombian players insisting Neymar touched the ball. If that's the case, then this is even dumber. What's to stop players from saying something like "Neymar bit the goalkeeper!"?
This could be resolved by having someone from afar monitor the game via instant replay, he could then radio-in to the ref and say "Hey, that didn't happen; leave it be." Not only would this happen instantaneously, but we would actually save time from literally every single game as players would no longer have an excuse to complain (can't complain if the ref has evidence).
Instead players and fans have to pray that the ref "saw" everything, because if he didn't, you could get away with murder...?
Caveman means of officiating is caveman.

Brazil could be in hot water if they lose this, and Neymar is now suspended for the third group game. You'd think they could handle Venezuela but you don't know.
Also yeah, watching it, the yellow for the handball is just a bad decision.
