It did seem a bit easy for you, you might have a couple of kilos on you still. (A bit couple).

When I'm doubling the suggested rep count, it's probably time to increase. Deadlift is by far my weakest lift and the one I'm most insecure about form-wise so I've taken it quite slow. Yea, I know I'm a weakling on it. Thanks for the feedback!

I went back to an upper/lower and I'm looking for some variety to add to my GHD weighted situps for abs on lower day. I'll have to try those out again. Couldn't even do them well enough to get a decent workout last time, but my core strength is definitely improved because I've put 50 pounds on my rest-pause front squat.

The only other core exercises I enjoy doing are dragon flags and hanging leg raises. Although GoTuNk showed me this way to do hanging leg raises Also, snow day today. Looks like I'll be lifting today then.

Looks like I'll be lifting today then. ahahahaha that is brilliant. i do dragon flag type beginner thing on a flat bench , its fucking sick as shit. but u can do very limited work using your bodyweight (since its very difficult) and you have to hope that what you're doing is working coz you don't see any "progress" for like forever. i do like 5 sets of 5-10 inbetween bench press or something else. and then end with standard leg raises on a dip bar. idk how effective it is but its easy enough to perform and hard enough to do that i love it. the hardest point is legs straight out, basically lying flat but with your legs off the end of the bench (and hands grasping the bench behind your head). you only got so much gas per session so its hard to not want to push certain positions for a set, really it doesnt matter what you do so long as you do it and hit a bit of everything and its hard.

Front Squat @ 195 lbs. 6 reps first set followed by 10 triples. RDL @ 215 lbs. 9 reps first set followed by 7 triples. DB lateral raise @ 17.5 lbs. 12 reps & 4 sets of 5 & 3 triples. Good Morning @ 95 lbs. 8 reps & 7 triples. Machine Leg Press @ lol weight for 29 total reps. GHR situps w/ 25 lb plate behind head for 10 sets of 5. Everything but the GHR situps was 45-80 seconds rest. Those were straight sets with about 2:20 rest. Trying out different second lifts after the front squat/rdl at the moment to see what I like best. I'm too weak for GHRs, and my hamstrings are really too tight for effective good mornings. Might have to go back to machine leg curls, and definitely liking machine leg extensions over leg press (which I'm too tall for anyway) Considering mixing both the quad and hamstring assistance and just doing split squats or something, but I'm not sure how effective those would be in this format. As badly as heavy triples on front squat suck (my max is probably ~210 for a triple atm?) the first set where I'm supposed to hit 8-12 is ten times as bad.

I probably talk about them too much... but I despite all competitive athletic experience I have, I don't think I truly understood what beastmode meant until the first time I hit rep 10 of a true 10 rep max Front Squat.

Going to revisit and focus on great technique but I was annoyed to get my max off the ground but no more than a few inches off the ground twice last session. Might just be my hammies being weaklings ![]() You can try deficit deadlifts to increase your speed of the floor and rush trough the sticking point, or slightly heavier partial deadlifts from your sticking point (this might actually be harder than regular at first lol)
