Hehe, US varies greatly. I currently have 10in of snow on the ground as I had out to lift in my uninsulated garage. If you move here, live in the south for sure...

its been between 5 and -5 here all day (-15 to -20 celsius). Supposed to hit -12 (-24c) before windchill tonight, and that's nothing out of the ordinary. Would be insane to try lifting in your garage without some sort of space heater or something. At least its been to cold to snow the last week and a half.
I'm pretty much translucent at this point... But everyone is here, so take your vitamin d, bundle up, and wait to break out the sleeveless t's when it gets back up to ~50 (10 c)
I started taking creatine, and holy crap it makes a big difference (loaded for 5 days now, doing ICF 5x5) Sets 1-3, I didn't notice anything particularly different but for the last two workouts (inc. today), sets 4-5 on every lift have gotten significantly easier on the last rep. I was stalling on linear progression previously but I've gotten right back to linear progression on both bench and squat for 3 in a row without changing diet or anything which blew my mind.
5x project courses with 4x milestone coming up in the next two weeks though, I might have to drop down to SL 5x5 for a while until I can find time for it =(.
Went for the first time since Christmas Monday night. Soreness just peaking this morning. I don't want to leave the bed and I am supposed to go again today?!? Should have never dropped into this slump TT.
Zatic has been skiing for six hours at a time though. #fitocracycreeping
I keep hearing/seeing people noticing this significant difference after creatine supplementation. I feel like I put on some mass when I first started back in April but I also don't seem to notice any difference in endurance during lifting sessions. Maybe it was too gradual but my brother is telling me he feels like he has just as much energy at the end of his sessions than at the beginning after I got him some for Christmas. Maybe I'm underdosing? I've been eyeballing a rounded teaspoon so that could be the problem :\
Creatine has marginal effects on "energy" in that creatine is basically a force multiplier instead of a generator. In other words, creatine supplementation floods the body with excess "stuff" that allows muscles to retain more water and exert a greater amount of force. If your brother is claiming lack of exhaustion as his main creatine benefit, I can tell you he is likely not pushing himself as hard as the supplement allows, which is obviously sub-optimal. As for you, some people are light or non responders when it comes to creatine monohydrate, so I'd consider checking out other forms.

Hmm this is interesting, thank you. As for my brother, I know he's working as he's upped his squat from 300 to 415 or so for doubles/triples in the last six months are so at 200ish lb bw. Of course it's good to know there's still more in the tank, I wish I had that problem. After some looking around you would recommend trying Creatine Ethyl Ester or Tri & Di Creatine Malate as other forms? Currently using ON Micronized.
Ethyl Ester is arguably the least effective analogue of Creatine Monohydrate. I'd look into the malates, as I've personally had success with supplements like Green Mag.
