Cristiano was the better player throught year 2014 and deserves to win it this year, cause noone else was even close. Chelsea sucks haha. Drawing with Maribor, that's almost as bad as Arsenal's 3 goal collapse. Especially after Mourinho was promising domination before the game. There is still a slight chance Chelsea doesn't make it to ro16, although they probably will. Doesn't look like english teams can hope for more than ro16 though. Unless it's just a smoke screen and Chelsea are intentionally putting in subpar performances to make the big clubs complacent when they eventually get them in the knockout stages and cruise on the the final! | ||

I only saw the replay of the Maribor goal, but it looked like Luis really should have done better there. I can see why Azpilicueta is preferred ahead of him. Btw England are really poor this year. Arsenal struggling was to be expected with all their injuries this year, but Man City is an absolute joke. So much quality and comfortable in the premier league, but can't do shit in the champions league. Year after year. To think Pelegrini even said he felt City deserved to be in Pot1. | ||

Article But yeah he needed to be closed down more, same with the goal we concede vs QPR, JT was to slow and didn't try to stop the original cross. Then deflection goal and 1-1. It's fine though, im looking forward to watching Chelsea after the next international break, when we go from November 22nd to like February of straight games together all the time. This is hopefully when Mourinho gets the team playing their best. | ||

Messi has been terrible all season (which terrible for him means still amazing lol) The last few gamea (Celta, RM and PSG) he WALKED the entire match, showed little care about it and did absolutely nothing And no, he doesnt do everything, he shows little to no interest in helping in defense this season (last year too), in that regard Ronaldo, Alexis and Rooney are much much better And he needa to do it nowadays, few years ago it wasnt a problem as Xavi and Iniesta were fit and could take care of that, they cant anymore and their subs arent up to the task, busquets and Rakitic and good, but nowhere near Xavi/Iniesta But the problem is Luis Enrique :p he just doesnt find the team (and some said that anyone could lead this players back in Guardiola time) | ||

Messi is playing phenomenally, only thing kinda lacking is his finishing which is expected since he plays deep now. I mean, literally the only reason barca are doing anything is because of messi. Maybe it is a simple as that as to how FIFA give the Ballon d'Or out to these two due to how good they both are lol? For those who want to know 2013-2014 Messi 46games 41goals (all comps) Ronaldo 47games 51goals (all comps) 2014-2015 Messi 14games 11goals (all comps) Ronaldo 16games 22goals (all comps) Both are stupidly good records but Ronaldo "better" in these tiny aspects. Of course if you go back to the other two seasons, Messi wins in the goal scoring and got the award? Rightfully so on the basis too xD | ||

Btw messi has scored more CL goals than Cristiano in 17 games less. Also, he has 71 goals and 19 assists in 90 CL games, that's 1 goal per game. I mean, it's not even close. Not to speak of how horrible cristiano is with portugal, messi while extremely fatigued reached a world cup final, a final that hadn't higuain forgot how to play football, they would have won too. | ||

The reason why Neuer will probably win 3rd place is because of that too, or if Ribery makes an appearance in 3rd. Like i also said, the difference between them both is so small that the things like what they won and how many goals they scored probably plays a part in how the votes go. It is awarded based on votes by coaches and captains of international teams, as well as journalists from around the world. | ||

I hope youre better at sc2 than fotball because this is hilarious. Do you really think chelsea dosnt get higher than ro16??? DO you really think that they just * probably * make it to the round of 16??? LOL Chelsea have been in 5 of 5 semis the last 5 years. they have the best academy right now whit most good youngsters on loan and have probably the best or second/third best squad. Even real madrid and barca loses time to time.. Chelsea havent lost yet, even if the performances havent been the best we stil manage to NOT LOSE. Premier league is also the hardest league whit most top clubs. | ||
