You don't have the media shit storm in England or the exaggerated hate due to there isn't anything to fuel it apart from online forums dedicated to each club where they spill the shit. The national newspapers in England cover all the major teams fairly and shit on them all and praise them when they do good / bad.
The only catalysts into fueling bad blood between teams comes when your fans get together in pubs and get drunk and the hate just spills out that way xD ye in Portugal all channels have at least one show where they get one commentator from each Sporting, Benfica and Porto, and they basically just shit talk each other. they can be pretty hilarious sometimes. i just dont like the ones where they have just one guy talking about all teams and usually that one guy is from benfica lol. :p but ye it can be as Bobaz said.. they dont control media but they have huge influence. also thing with Sporting is that our new president kinda annoyed the old big guys from sporting so even "sporting media" stuff can be usually against nowadays sporting lol edit: Lastest news.. Sporting medical department discovers that William Carvalho returns with big injury(tibial stress fracture) from u21 team, needs to stop 12 weeks.. Portuguese Federation says they knew nothing and that William never said there was something wrong while William says that he told them there was something wrong. now he is gonna miss the Super Cup vs Benfica and the Champions League playoff. Still he was best player of the tourney while injured lol Thanks a lot Portuguese Federation... normally clubs get compensation in situations like this but im pretty sure we get nothing
I'm surprised you didn't find a way to say that William injury was Benfica's Fault J/K
But you need to see this from the bright side. At least with William being off for 3 months it's unlikely that you'll sell him. So he'll stay and help the team

This is positively factually the worst transfer ever. Man city paid more for sterling then barca paid for neymar AFTER YOU INCLUDE THEIR DEALING TO HIDE HOW MUCH THEY PAID IN EMBARRASSMENT. Sterling is second highest wage on man shakeu behind Yaya tore AT 20 YEARS OLD. Now manshaky can't rebuild it's cripple old roster.
Still laughing at it all.

Still laughing at it all. Neymar was over 80 million euro, and if they will be find get guilty of everything they were accused together with fines it can rise to over 200.

Fuck's sake, Sterling hasn't even played a single game for City yet. It might turn out to be a bargain if he becomes one of the best in the world. It's big money, but David Luiz got sold for a similar fee to PSG, remember? It's just crazy being crazy as far as money goes.
I can see Sterling doing great for the very attacking team that City is.

i hope he tanks and burns in city, and i hope liverpool spend all that money in the same way they spent on carroll.

This says 86m euros But the point is still valid that sterling is nowhere near the level of predicted and proven talent that neymar was when he was transferred for roughly the same fee.
Not to mention the 200k a week fee being part of the transfer process has to be considered inflating the price.

As does just about every source I could find.

I don't think Pedro is worth 22 million tbh
|
As a Barça fan I'd sell Pedro for 30M€ in a heartbeat, sadly. Hell I would have sold him two years ago for that much too. I still remember how I sold him in a FIFA manager game for 20M and an achievement popped up lol.
I'm thinking about joining an FPL that includes the major european leagues. The PL felt too small last year, with my friends and I having too similar teams most of the time. If anyone got a favorite FPL like that, feel free to share it :D

He will be a great squad player for us though, if anything happens to Willian or Hazard we have someone to step in with still some potential left to improve. Could be a hidden gem after Mourinho coaches him :D
But for what is out in the market though £22million for a 27 year old how has experience and talent it is good i think. I mean we would have had to find some "kid" for that kind of money or even worst a 30 year old with a few years left.
Rumor has it we have Varane in the bag too but that is just internet crap so far xD

But that is, if you dont put Ronaldo and Messi in your team you instantly lose lol.

Barcelona players never play well once they leave Barcelona, so I'd say there is a 70% chance he'll flop (not even guessing).
By the way, we need to hype up the prediction league this year so more people join

Haha, yeah i can't believe Rafa would even contemplate getting rid of Ramos and Varane considering he is the manager who likes a solid back and midfield before thinking about his attack.
All will be revealed though

It doesn't matter what Real Madrid coach wants, Florentino always make the transfers he wants directly since forever.
