Sketelenburg Current team Southampton (on loan from Fulham) Falcao Chelsea (on loan from Monaco) so that list shows Falcao going back to Monaco from Man U and going out on loan.to Chelsea and Sketelenburg going back fo Fulham (then he got loan to southampton) so nothing wrong there. Also Benfica never officialy said for how much they sold them.. they just spread it all over the media (that they control) that it was 15 million and their dumb supporters keep buying everything they say. (ye sports newspapers and news channels are pretty much dominated by Benfica here in Portugal its pretty sick.. but that would be a whole another issue, but ye just so if you wonder why we at Sporting hate them specially when in all sport stuff on tv and newspapers is stuff shit talking Sporting lol)

![]() I won't comment on that so Pande don't have to shut me up, because I have so much to say about the "Media Controlling" that you refer. About Cavaleiro: myself, and most of the normal Benfica fans, only buy what's in the official financial Annual Report. We can comment on that matter after that. And the information you show it's also from a newspaper and not from the club. Let's all hope that you don't fall from the moral high horse that you're putting yourself on. The hate that Sporting fans in general have against Benfica is blinding.

You're mixing controlling the media with having more representation in the media. Benfica is clearly the club that has more news. But that's because we have more fans and we buy more newspapers. Benfica Sells! and now sporting sells more because of Jesus and his former association with the Benfica brand. But yes, if you look to the neswspapers you can clearly say that Abola is Benfica Biased and OJogo is Porto Biased, but Record is clearly Sporting biased. But that's not a discussion to have here. Just for reference for people that are not Portuguese, we follow football TOO MUCH. Despite the fact that we don't fill the stadiums we have 3 daily newspapers for sports, the 3 bigger clubs have club channels, and 6 out of the 7 days of the week you have football discussion programs on the main news channels, at prime time. At any given day if you turn your TV on at 22:00 and do a quick zapping, you always have, at least, two or three shows to discuss footbal.

The national newspapers in England cover all the major teams fairly and shit on them all and praise them when they do good / bad. The only catalysts into fueling bad blood between teams comes when your fans get together in pubs and get drunk and the hate just spills out that way xD

You don't have the media shit storm in England or the exaggerated hate due to there isn't anything to fuel it apart from online forums dedicated to each club where they spill the shit. The national newspapers in England cover all the major teams fairly and shit on them all and praise them when they do good / bad. The only catalysts into fueling bad blood between teams comes when your fans get together in pubs and get drunk and the hate just spills out that way xD ye in Portugal all channels have at least one show where they get one commentator from each Sporting, Benfica and Porto, and they basically just shit talk each other. they can be pretty hilarious sometimes. i just dont like the ones where they have just one guy talking about all teams and usually that one guy is from benfica lol. :p but ye it can be as Bobaz said.. they dont control media but they have huge influence. also thing with Sporting is that our new president kinda annoyed the old big guys from sporting so even "sporting media" stuff can be usually against nowadays sporting lol edit: Lastest news.. Sporting medical department discovers that William Carvalho returns with big injury(tibial stress fracture) from u21 team, needs to stop 12 weeks.. Portuguese Federation says they knew nothing and that William never said there was something wrong while William says that he told them there was something wrong. now he is gonna miss the Super Cup vs Benfica and the Champions League playoff. Still he was best player of the tourney while injured lol Thanks a lot Portuguese Federation... normally clubs get compensation in situations like this but im pretty sure we get nothing
