Even as an Arsenal fan I can say that Chelsea are playing some of the best football in the league this season. I don't even hate Mourinho anymore. The fact that I like Hazard and Schürrle is even more endearing.
Thankfully Diego Costa makes it easy to hate Chelsea despite all of that.

Hopefully they can rest Kroos soon. There were some quotes from him in midweek saying he's getting tired because he's not used to playing so much. I understand it's harder now with Modrić out, but maybe Ancelotti can give Illaramendi or Khedira some games. Though I think the latter has had fitness issues recently.

I'd expect chelsea to have a more defensive mindset going against any of the other top dogs in the CL, but in the premier league they are generally going to be dominating games and scoring quite some goals.
Thats pretty much it. he doesnt have a specific playstyle or identity. His identity is to win and prepare his team to give them the the best chance of doing it.
The one time he strayed from that philosophy he got an absolute shellacking and realized he was right all along.

Inb4 barca beats chelsea in the semis defending for their lives with chelsea having 60% possession.
*oh and lets all have a laugh at the chelsea fans who admitted that their team plays beautiful this season, I thought you guys find that playstyle boring??? xD

If he had played Real like he does with Chelsea now he would have been more successful at Real. I actually think Mourinho was afraid of failure in Real, that's why he didn't dare to play a different style than he was used to.
At Chelsea he actually experimented last year and thus didn't win anything.

He was plenty successful. Won or drew all the big games in the league, had a decent CL run. His team just lacked goals from a striker and a fair bit of maturity that saw them drop points against weak teams to take them to the next level.
He fixed both and with all the other "top teams" struggling you see the result. Part of the reason Chelsea looks so impressive this season is everyone else who is supposed to be at their level has been pretty shit.

Where is the hype for Southampton vs Manchester City??????

Soton is having a lot of problems with the top teams but if Aguero finds that he scored enough already this week they might stand a chance.

Circle-jerking about how one playstyle was better than the other is what I have always complained about.

Pretty nifty FK goal from Palermo: http://m.imgur.com/4Ml4lsG
Paulo Dybala now has 6 goals and 2 assists this season. One of the most exciting young players in Serie A!
