It's really too bad to see Liverpool playing this badly. They were so fun to watch last season, and it seems like they've lost all that fluidity and explosiveness.

Wow. Didn't expect that score line at Selhurst Park. I expected Liverpool to struggle maybe even lose 1:0 but to let 3 in (I haven't seen the game or the goals) they’ve got some big problems.

they got a goal from a fantastic pass from gerrard to lambert in 90seconds. other than that, i felt they looked really uninspired and lost.

Gerrard really should not be starting, nor should Skrtel.

Skrtel is just a terrible defender, positionally daft, frequently causing him to make reckless tackles to compensate, or else, putting his fellow defenders in a tough spot to try and cover for him. He is the sole constant with Liverpool's horrid defense these past two seasons. Honestly think Toure-Lovren would make for a better central defense then anything with Skrtel in it.

Gerrard is useless as the deepest midfielder. He is a sieve defensively for an already shocking back four and he no longer seems to have the confidence to make even simple forward passes, choosing instead to pass it sideways or backwards. He is the main reason that Liverpool's play has been so lethargic this season and why the talented players up front like Coutinho/Sterling/Lallana have had so little decent service.

I think it's very realistic to see Liverpool end outside the top 6 this season with the way they are playing.

I wonder how many of the 50,000 English fans are enjoying their first family trip to watch some women’s football at Wembley. England 0:3 down to Germany at half time. It’s still an impressive crowd for women’s football in England. I don't see club women’s football ever attracting a large crowd but maybe the added factor of supporting your country might produce reasonable attendances for international games like this in the future. Anyway I'm going over to watch Hull Vs Spurs.
