Serpest United States603 Posts November 22 2014 19:37 GMT #7391 Yeah. Wenger needs to leave. Fightback was too little too late. We have a slow defence that can't deal with counter attacks. And absolutely horrid finishing. Against Swansea, Welbeck messed up two chances (although he did provide the assist). Tonight, Wilshere was useless in the box. Officiating was poor (Wilshere should have been carded. Fellaini was offside for the goal and pushed Gibbs into Szczesny. Rooney was incorrectly called offside when 1v1 with keeper.) So overall a bad game. But the attitude of ManU was to keep on fighting. Arsenal can't finish to save their lives and lose out on pace and momentum. We seriously need a pacy defence (I really hope the Hummels rumours prove true), but we also need to recognise that for all we've managed with Wenger, his attitude of 4th place and that's it doesn't cut it. He no longer can adapt to the tactical changes of the other managers. I really liked Giroud back in the side. His goal was gorgeous (half volley that de Gea could only redirect into the top left corner). Giroud with Sanchez and Welbeck either side is decent. Maybe put oxlade chamberlain and ramsey on either side of Ozil when he gets back. Defence would look like gibbs Koscienly Chambers Debuchy. Ospina as Goalie (Szczesny is pants at judging long balls) If anything, buy a proper striker, defensive midfielder, defender and goalie. :/ Not sure if people of the caliber of Martinez or Griezmann or even Reus / Hummels would want to come to Arsenal while Wenger is still here though. Sad gunner fan. But, I still support them T_T;;;

They just didn't have that stability to keep up good performance. 20 minutes in, I was like "they're going to outplay those Van Gaal noobs 4-0 if this continues". Ox gave Shaw nightmares and MU had awful closing down on Wilshere in the middle (Fellaini is such a loose cannon). But in the second half, United got their shit together, Young, Valencia and Di Maria stepped up and the momentum for Gunners was gone. Once it was gone... boom, concede, then attack like madmans and concede one more (first shot on target for MU in 83rd minute!). Just typical Arsenal lettdown, plz Wenger, add some balls to the team asap.
