You can find arguments for both players being the best of this generation, but because of the above reasons, I definitely prefer Messi. No-one knows who's going to be better at 34-35. Ronaldo might just have used up his body in 3 years because of the extreme stress he puts onto it all the time as well. Messi will most likely gradually go to a playmaking role when he gets older. You can already see him playing a bit less deep at times. | ||
