Last season, the philosophy was simple: beast it up from the first whistle, get 2-0 or 3-0 before 30th minute mark and then just coast to victory. It was non-stop attack. But now, it's obviously not possible anymore and I don't see any other kind of tactical solution from the manager. They don't have a striker to lead the charge, Gerrard's legs give in and the holes in the defense remain. Hell, if friggin Kolo Toure gets a game vs Real Madrid and easily outperforms first-choice centre-backs, what does it even say about them? | ||
