Surely they can't be held responsible for the actions of every single Albanian in Serbia. Also they can't be blamed for not wanting to continue to play in a dangerous environment after some of their players already got assaulted by fans. What is the punishment for, exactly? then the same argument must hold for serbia. they cant be held responsible for every serbian in the stadium. so basically it gets nowhere. Well that isn't true. The Serbian FA is responsible for hosting a safe and organized match in Serbia. Crowd control is part of that. The albanian FA has no means or authority to stop an Albanian fan from flying a drone around in a foreign country. Teams are punished for racist rants, use of pyrotechnics, etc. I was under the impression that this was only done for the home side, for the reason stated above. Only measure I've heard of was to simply not have away support in certain matches, but that decision is made by the home side and approved by uefa. Am I mistaken in that? I've been trying to google this, but I can't find anything.
In Sweden clubs can get fined for things their fans do when playing away. In this game Albanian fans were banned though (I think).
Pretty fucked up that after this mess the Serbian team goes out and thanks their so called fans IMO

It's an obvious political provocation from the Albanians. In the context of the relations between Serbia and Albania this kind of "demonstrations" are just unacceptable. Even if the FA is separate structure(and it's not) from the government, the team should be punished for this insult. They even tried to "defend the flag"... come on. The Albanians should be happy that they left Serbia alive. IMO UEFA should fine themselves too... They put Spain-Gibraltar, Azerbaijan-Armenia and Russia-Georgia in separate groups(hell even Israel is allowed to play in UEFA competitions, because they can't possibly play against middle-east countries), but they couldn't do the same for Serbia-Albania. Extremely dumb.

I didn't see any official reasons for the judgment, so it`s pure speculation. The Albanian players were clearly seen starting a fight when Serbian players calmly took down the flag, and the Albanian FA is certainly responsible for the behavior of their players.

What the hell was Felix Magath doing wrong at Fulham?
What was it 1 point from 7 games with him. Fire him and its13 points from 7 games without him.

THIS
small snippet
It goes back to last season when Brede Hangeland, then the Fulham captain, was diagnosed with a slight thigh injury and the club’s doctor, Stephen Lewis, with more than a decade of working in elite sport, put together a recovery programme to try to get him fit for the weekend. Except Magath thought he knew better. There was another way to treat the problem, he said. So he sent the kit-man to the Tesco in New Malden, a short drive along the A3 from Fulham’s training ground, to buy a large block of cheese.

Magath is just a terrible coach. I don't know how he finds work.

It seems like Magath has gone crazy over the years, he just cannot work with players anymore. It's like his overgrown ego combined with his earlier success has driven him insane. Also it is possible that he is just in it for the money and is laughing his ass off while earning millions (thanks to his former glory and his serious demeanor). I remember he got fired and looked like he didn't give a damn, all smiling in the interviews.

Thanks for that interesting read and answered my question to a tee.
"Fulham probably have a better idea now why Lewis Holtby, on loan from Tottenham, immediately asked to return to White Hart Lane when he found out that Magath, formerly his coach at Schalke, was taking over."

There is a reason no one in germany gives him a job anymore.

EL CLASSICO!!![[image loading]](http://img.skysports.com/football/badges/128/598.png) vs Kick Off 16:00 GMT (+00:00)Team NewsReal MadridGareth Bale is missing for Carlo Ancelotti's side but the Real Madrid manager is likely to stick with the bulk of the side that was so impressive in dismantling Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday. Dani Carvajal could replace Alvaro Arbeloa at right back, but at the top end of the pitch it will be left to Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and James Rodriguez to dismantle the Barcelona defence. BarcelonaLuis Suarez, whose four-month ban for biting Giorgio Chiellini ends on Saturday, may well go straight back into Luis Enrique's starting XI at the expense of Pedro, who has looked less that convincing in recent games. Javier Mascherano is likely to keep his position in midfield where he has been so impressive this season though, with Sergio Busquets available again, Enrique may be tempted to push the Argentine back into his defence in order to accommodate the Spaniard in midfield.
