Poland won and somehow I am not even sad about it.

Hard to believe Durm was a striker once
And despite his watefulness Bellarabi played well and fought hard, I think he is a nice addition to the squad. Müller really didn't bring his A-game today though, and without him we don't have a finisher.

This is, in fact, the first time *ever* we have won against Germany in an official match. So happy!

The youngsters didn't look bad by any means. Poland executed their game plan really well though and they should definitely make waves in 2016. Germany just needs to realize this slow-ass strategy of passing the ball up the field little by little and letting their entire team get behind the ball is an absolutely stupid way to do this. Every team in the world knows how to beat it and Poland just did it. Put some fucking pace in the game or we'll become irrelevant and embarrassing like Spain is now. I dont think passing the ball up slowly is typical of the German football at all. If the opponent stands deep and defensive, you simply have to pass around the ball in your team more often. On the contrary I thought in the 2nd half the Germans often rushed things too much and lost some control as a consequence.

Wow, Poland beat Germany in footy first time ever and with probably one of the worst coaches they've ever had.
|
And Milik got the winning goal!
Get used to Bellarabi. He's great but his finishing leaves something to be desired.
|
Finland 1 - 1 Greece, acceptable against a WC Ro16 team I think. 3 points from Romania on tuesday and we're all set for next month's away matches!
|
Good job Poland, hope this builds up hype for the national team at home.
In other news Armenia - Serbia 1:1 -.-

Both here and in the World Cup there were numerous points where the team actively chose to pass backwards or laterally instead of pushing the ball forward in order to slow the game down and control possession. It seems like Löw has been trying to emulate the Bayern style (which itself takes a lot from the Barca/Spain style), which isn't a good thing. This team has a lot of speed and strength and while you need to be good at possession football, you can't just sit back like this. Whenever Germany looked weak in the World Cup, it's because they were trying this same crap. They always looked their strongest when they were picking up the pace, using their strength, and not sitting on the ball.

you think so? I liked the controlled germany against france a lot more than the pacing germany against ghana. The latter was way to risky.

I agree with Stratos_speAr. It's commonly known that Germans have probably the highest stamina and fitness out of all teams and it hurts me to see them play a style which does not use their advantages

So I'm a little late to the party, but: hahahaha, Poland won vs Germany :D:D And it wasn't even 1-0 hahaha. Now I bet half the country expects our team to win Euro 2016.

Özil wants to leave Arsenal in January as Bayern Munich line up £30m bid for crocked German midfielder.

Source? I don't find anything related in German media.
Edit: you ninja you

35 Million for Özil? Unrealistic i would say, that would be too much of a steal i take him over Draxler any day.

Draxler >>> Özil. Draxler is the better dribbler, better on the wing and still only 21. I really hope we buy him and I can never imagine Bayern buying Özil. We have more than enough central midfielders we need wingers to replace ribery and robben in the future.

I dont like too. I think Bayern should buy a new top left winger and robben plays in the middle behind Lewandowski.
I heard Pep want a new chef who replaces Sammer...

Where the fuck are they going to put him?
I mean I'd love to see him back in Germany, but seriously! What the fuck is Bayern going to do with him? Are all these talented players really happy to sit on the bench there???
