Man this weekend is going to be crazy. My team started 2-7 but there is still a chance I make the fantasy playoffs. Just need 2 other people to lose and I need to win. The only thing I'm truly dreading is I passed up Mike Evans 2 weeks ago because I thought my season was over and I took a gamble on AP. Now Evans is on the team I need to beat... Please Mike don't punish me...

Starting the QB against the pats can be a decent idea, becuase BB pulls starters when the lead is big on defense, leading to a ton of garbage time stats, aka why the Jests thought the Sanchize was good for so long.

I was in this spot last week, needing to win out, and facing last place twice and 10th place once....

I promptly shit the bed in the first game and put up like 80 points. my team has assholes like McCoy, vd, garcon, welker. Yeah.

It's a worthwhile gamble. Vet minimum is nothing to cut, and he's proven that he's at the very least a serviceable backup.

Not like BB has many problems with problematic players, so I think this is one of the few places that Blount can actually work in. We do still really need a running back besides Gray if they're not going to use Vereen for anything more than a Kevin Faulk - 3rd down and screens. I like the way Blount runs personally.

Blount's either a nice back up or a rbbc back for like 10 carries per game and the short yardage stuff. definitely don't think hes good enough to be a stand alone guy but yeah at that price why the hell not

Is he the only recent running back from Oregon that still gets any real playing time btw? I know most of those guys aren't really built like an NFL back anyway but as someone that follows more college than nfl I think that's kind of funny. I didn't even know Lamichael James was on the dolphins right now and I guess De'Anthony Thomas just returns kicks?

I guess you can toss Lache Seastrunk in there too cause he was another Oregon guy but he ended up leaving and going to Baylor and was the self proclaimed heisman contender. Drafted by the Redskins... but didn't even make the team

I still don't know if LaMichael James isn't being used right or if he just isn't nfl good. Dude's got a huge sense of entitlement though.

Man at the start of the season the Niners backfrield was so stacked and now it's basically Gore and Hyde haha

I'm of the belief that having multiple RBs is usually always better than just having one unless they're elite, and since Gray is definitely not that I would have no problem diversifying the Pat's backline.
