too busy watching hockey to post ![]() i love Russia's " low post play " on the big ice that Datsyuk basically invented. i'd love to see more "low post play" along with intentionally wide shots. although this event has been really fun to watch , its still more fun to play hockey than it is to watch.

Do you think Don Cherry is confused by today's Czechoslovakia intra-squad game? ![]() 3 times so far .. i've heard .. "Czechoslo..The Czech Republic" isn't SLovakia more than 20 years old now? how old r these hockey commentators to keep making this error? there has been whining about the Russians having "fixed" some events.... but no whining can be made about the Russians "fixing" hockey.. because the ice at today's Norway v. Russia game was horrible. With Russia having an overwhelming skill advantage you'd think the Russians would make sure the ice was perfect if they wanted to improve their team's chances. I'm getting sick of watching that Crosby overtime goal..its every where... why don't we get a CGI reproduction of Bobby Clarke breaking Valeri Kharlamov's ankle with the baseball swing... that was just as big a turning point in international hockey history

Ovechkin and Malkin are like David Beckham, over promoted by the media and beloved by people who dont understand or want to understand hockey. Ovechkin has never won anything relevant and Malkin has only won when surrounded by a better players. Datsyuk is the only winner on team Russia, which is why in every game he plays he looks so effective.
