Mesut Ozil’s rollercoaster few weeks continues with reports surfacing from the Allianz Arena that the German has sustained a serious hamstring problem. Speaking after the game Arsene Wenger remarked that having already consulted Bayern club doctor Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt the prognosis wasn’t good. “The German specialist told us Mesut’s injury is quite bad. “It’s a hamstring [problem]. It looks quite serious – he’s out for at least a few weeks. There’s a scan tomorrow." Source Just as he looked like he was finding some form, too. And just before the most important part of our season. Thank God Ramsey is back this weekend. We need him.

We really were a fully fit squad away from achieving great things this season. Looking back on the injuries it's pretty crazy that we managed to stay at the very top for so long. 1st batch of injuries: Ox, Poldi, Santi, Theo, Sanogo, Vermaelen, Arteta 2nd: Ramsey, Theo again, Bendtner, Rosicky, 3rd: Ozil, Wilshire, Gibbs, Monreal I even left out most of the smaller 1-2 week injuries and it's still a staggering list, plus you can throw in the half dozen suspensions our players have received into that mix. Can't be too gloomy though because let's face it, this swiss cheese squad has been putting up mostly good performances in all positions, only going out to strong opposition in Chelsea and Bayern in cups, challenging for the league and is on course to bag the FA Cup. At the start of the season who wouldn't have happily taken that?

M G That is a fucking joke. Ban him for life in my opinion. OMG his leg is like fucking backwards at the end omg. Referee did really well to keep control of people there, if that happened to any of my team mates i would of went mental. #PREY4THATGUY ![]()

I seriously doubt it. If you took out Lewandowski, that may very well be true, but he pretty much doubles our wage bill.

I've been looking into it and it depends which wage bills are being compared, I wouldn't put it past the sensationalist English press to be comparing different wage budgets. I know that QPR's wage budget is reported to be 93 million euro last season, but I'm not sure if this is players only. Dortmunds wage budget for players only is 68 million euro which is 25 million less, but the total wage bill is 102 million euro. That said it is ridiculous that QPR is even getting close to that wage budget.
