FIFA is rotten to the core and corrupt as fuck to put it mildly. It's a disgrace the WC ended in Qatar. Not that i'm against Qatar or anything but it's basically the whole situation and the way FIFA has worked in general the last many years. There's some problems that goes deep in the organization of FIFA and same with the people of it.

Yeah FIFA doing what the Olympic committee do and try to "make the hosts leave a legacy". How fuck Qatar going to get a legacy of football ;_; It is a strict islam rule country, no way would it attract big players and get a decent league going.

Huhhh? Pretty sure south korea and japan pay their players and allow them to leave anytime
How is this corruption and not slavery? Please explain it to me

They werent forcing him to play now were they ? They were just withholding papers so he would be miserable should he want to leave.
I dont even see why this warrants a discussion someone actually gave you a link explaining what it is. Im assuming you just completely ignored it.
And please dont nitpick its pretty pathetic. We all know Japan and Korea pay their players I was being lazy in generalizing, didnt think it would matter much..
Even china pays its players, Malaysia pays its players to, even fucking Qatar pays its players so this one having an issue doesnt mean its the whole world, it has nothing absolutely nothing to do with them wanting to make him a "slave" in anyway.
They didnt want him and they bullied him, thats that. It happens all the time ..
there is plenty of shafting of this nature going on in less developed asian countries and or princely states. This one seems to have broken because somoene has an axe to grind against Qatar hosting the world cup. Which doesnt absolve them of wrongdoing but its not for gods sake slavery.
Anyway my point is making statements like that and offering a link that has nothing to do with slavery is really silly and may misguide people into thinkings things that arent necessarily true.
There are plenty of phillipino workers in the emirates who have been suffering for what is now decades. But the plight of one relatively cushy footballer is slavery.
Tomorrow there will be assholes breaking stories about Brazils worldcup prep and how prostitutes are being used to keep workers motivated or some stupid shit like that. And thats probably because one random contractor will use a hoe to get his guys working faster.+ Show Spoiler +(obviously this is hypothetical, but you get the point so no offense is intended here its just an analogy.)

Well I take back what I said about Australia.

It's close but you guys got your last two games at home and Ukraine isn't going to have an easy time against Poland. .

Beat Panama -> Beat New Zealand -> Qualify for WC.
Doesn't seem that hard IMO

Haha it could be, but in all honesty I think England is just going to finish top.

Really excited about the Korea vs Brazil friendly coming up on Oct. 12. I want to see how our young CBs will do against the trickery and pace of the brazil side, especially this kid Kim Young-Gwon. He's been playing in the chinese league, which i admittedly never watch, but hell Lippi apparently really likes him. http://wildeastfootball.net/2013/06/lippi-kim-young-gwon-could-play-for-manchester-united/
The other CB, hong jeong ho, was the much hotter prospect, but just went through a 1.5 year injury. Still, he got picked up by augsburg and made a decent debut.
Our midfield might not be on brazil's level, but it's not too far behind. We have players like ki sung yong, kim bo kyung, koo ja cheol, lee chung yong, and son heung min, who are all starters for clubs in europe, and with the exception of lee, all of those clubs are in first division(epl, bundesliga).
Might try a false nine as a forward since none of our pure strikers are on form, and we might need to use a false nine against stronger sides in 2014.

Augsburg coach Weinzierl said that he was very happy with Hong's contribution, and that he took responsibility. Jan-Ingwer Callsen-Bracker said that they gelled well (in central defence), even though Hong speaks neither German nor English.
Not bad for his first Bundesliga match.

I swear every international break seems about 10 months long T_T

Yeah but atleast this international break is important XD Finishing of the group games in Europe and then we will know play off games for next month international break. That is the annoying one though as even if your not in a qualification game they will still make boring friendlies out of it ;_;
|
The international break could be one week longer, so that some of Dortmunds players will be back from injury.
Atm injured: - Gündogan, Kehl, Bender, Sahin (complete defensive midfield, yay!) - Schmelzer, Piszczek (LB and RB, Piszczek won't be back before next year) - Reus, Hofmann (attacking midfield both) - Sokratis (CB)

Things are working out perfectly for Austria's team. Ibrahimovic in great form, Germany's side massively weakened due to injuries. Let's hope we beat Sweden tomorrow to seal second place and get it over with... as long as the Faroe Islands don't interfere again

I could easily see us beat Sweden and then horror against faroe islands...

Of course we can beat Sweden, we beat them last time!
...and of course we could lose to the Faroe Islands, we've done that before as well.

Even at home we make a mess of things xD On paper there should be no way in hell we will lose the next 2 games, should be comfortable 3-0 3-0 wins, but it wont be Sturridge's form upfront and our midfielders form it should be easy pickings vs Montenegro and Poland, but im sure all the players will bottle it And we have no idea what will happen xD With Stevie at the helm this will be no problem at all.
