Lol he can carry Liverpool at club level which is possible, he is no where near the level to carry England, hence we have been so shite :D I mean Lampard does it for Chelsea too, carries us in game, he doesn't carry for England either, even with his impressive scoring record at international level.
They all turn into women when they put the England shirt on >.< no pride or hunger, they just feel pressure and collapse.

Even then they should still be able to qualify, it's not like the countries you're up against are any better.

true, but away to Montengero we played awful and scraped a draw. Even though in the 10minutes we played we should of had 2 goals and a penalty xD, but the other 80minutes we were piss poor. Away to Poland we were VERY lucky Lampard scored his 85th minute penalty or something, and again we played so poor it was untrue XD So as England fan you never put your hopes up xD

Let's hope we beat Sweden tomorrow to seal second place and get it over with... as long as the Faroe Islands don't interfere again Germany can field something like:
Neuer/Lahm/the Boss/Merte/some random dude(as always)/Schweinsteiger/Khedira/Draxler/Kroos/Özil/Müller (Kruse and Hummels could start aswell)
I don't think that's massively weakened, we only miss Reus and maybe Klose. We have Draxler and Schürrle as options for Reus and Götze/Müller/Kruse as options for Klose. Could be worse :p

I take it you don't like Stefan Kießling?

If he had gone to a team in europe with a manager who could've put up with his attitude, instead of the one in Valladolid, he would've made a big splash over there.

Small edit for you!
If Sweden wins they take second place, if Austria wins they most likely take second place, if they draw and Germany then beats Sweden and Austria beats the Faroe Islands, Austria takes 2nd place. But in the latter scenario there's real danger for whoever takes 2nd place to fall out of the playoffs as the worst 2nd place finisher.

I thought 2nd place already in play offs, but cuz of odd number of groups (A-I = 9) that 1 3rd place team goes into the play offs to make it 10? xD

There's only 4 play-off matches for the 8 best number 2's in groups :o

What did Kießling do? He said at some months ago that he would not play in the national team as long as Löw is manager, since despite him playing well for that last years no official from the national team had talked to him. Then again, it seems they have cleared their misunderstandings from what I read when gooling this issue. So maybe Kießling is an option in the future, but not for the upcoming WC qualifier games, as he isn't in the squad.

At least their for Austria, there is no realistic danger to be the worst 2nd place finisher in this situation. Look at group B: The 2nd place finisher there will at most get 13 points (not counting the points against Malta and unless it's Armenia who would need to win in Italy). If Austria defeats Sweden, they have 14 points (not counting those against the Faroe Islands).
