You have to realise that its still holiday season and more importantly near the end so as many tourists as possible will try to get in, But yeah its an interesting system. My boss is a huge Arsenal fan and goes to games once a month or more if its a few big games (from seattle thats a fair bit away) and the other times he puts them up on the ticket exchange, they sell pretty much every time and its very rarely a local fan.

I know that, which makes me wonder how many spectators there is during non tourist season..

Haha mine too, but living 40 mins away means he goes to every home game. Good on your boss for being a legit supporter. What is your job by the way?

Ultras are not the kind of people who come to buy expensive goodies and sit gently, going to the stadium like at the cinema. And there's even the risk they could scare those nice rich spectators. So like everywhere in europe they ban ultras, disregarding every democratic aspects. In France they are KILLING football with a similar policy. They already killed the ambiance in the Parc des Prince (PSG's stadium) wich was reknowned as the finest in France (with RC Lens). They banned all the guys from supporter groups, 15k people punished for 200 guys doing shit. This is how democracy works in France and more and more int the rest of europe. I'm not trying my best but are you actually defending the guys who entered flares in stadiums and hit other people because of their football team supporting? Boixos Nois were a cancer, no need to have violent supporters when you can have non-violent supporters who shout just as loud. Oh yeah they also sent life threatening letters to the president and some players when the team was losing. But ey that's cool because they were doing their job wrong right? They are just like any fan that only supports the team when things go well, except even worse. PD: Real Sociedad are owning face atm, even after selling their star player to Madrid for 30M. Who now can't play because of stress xD

It just that they always seem worst that they are, but I dont think that the equivalent teams in Premier are much better. Anyway guys, you have to see both Real Sociedad goals. Epic.

It only consisted of maybe 20 hardcore fans with flags, 1 on drums to pump up the atmosphere and thats it. I'm used to at my local stadium there's maybe 100-200 hardcore fans making WAY more noise and singing than i saw in camp nou. It was almost ironic considering it's top3 biggest club in the world. Ever been to the Allianz Arena? The bane of popular and successful clubs, i guess...

If true, that seems like a good piece of business for Tottenham.

Spanish teams are usually so far of Madrid and Barcelona that everyone underestimate them. But they usually do a decent job in Europe. Malaga last year was eliminated in the last minute by Dortmund in Ro8. Two years ago 3 spanish teams in Ro4 of Europa League. The 2006 and 2007 Sevilla Europe Leagues, the 2010 and 2012 athletico Europe leagues and their Europe Supercup against Chealsea. It just that they always seem worst that they are, but I dont think that the equivalent teams in Premier are much better. Anyway guys, you have to see both Real Sociedad goals. Epic. i couldn't believe those goals were real, i was like wtf Oo... This is a sad for a Lyon fan. 2 years in a row not in CL, so unusual, i fear the fall of a great european club, 14 consecutive CL participations, 8 times in a row in the 1/16 (only Arsenal did better).

If true, that seems like a good piece of business for Tottenham. That's my dream scenario at this point, but Coentrao wants CL and Lamela isn't really for sale anymore after Osvaldo went to Southampton. Willian is a great signing on his own, but the squad is still short of goals without Bale. At the very least, top 4 is looking a bit more possible since Wenger has inexplicably refused to buy anyone. and AIOL! was right, Capoue is really impressive. Sad to see Ligue 1 losing great players like him.

Taking top talent and putting them in obscure leagues to hide them away from the world with the exception of the champions league. while I hate that nowadays money can always buy talent, I don't think it's possible for me to disagree more with your reasoning. I think one of the biggest problems in football is how all the good talent is soaked up by a couple leagues, or even by a few select teams located in a couple leagues. I think football would be better and more exciting if you still had a football reality where ajax could win the champions league and where rosenborg could, when the stars aligned and we got a golden combination of coach genius and local, loyal talent, knock out ac milan from the champions league. the reality you are describing is one where every good player goes to a top team in england, or juventus or bayern munich or dortmund or real madrid or barcelona. which would lead to a permanent segmentation of good and bad. not that I don't want people to be able to relocate. but I really wish bosman would've only applied to players older than 28 or something. now we basically have a scenario where england is gonna see at most 4 different champions over the next 10 years, prolly less, spain is gonna see 2 different, germany at most 2 different, italy is difficult to predict because their powerhouses might be caught cheating and then be demoted. you're arguing that this permanent segmentation of good or bad should become globalized through leagues themselves being in the same state. Now, I know you stated that you're mostly opposed because of how money is what buys the players, whereas say, germany managed to elevate their league (to at least top 3 status, possibly higher) through financial responsibility and smart talent development, and that's great. but the premier league underwent its evolution because of money (which 10 years ago pushed it from being #3 in europe to being #1 in europe - a position it has arguably lost since then), and it just ends up sounding like your main motivation is having the PL be #1, not some more altruistic motive of "having football talent be viewable for everyone" or whatnot. russia is totally fucked up though, but I think monaco is far more ridiculous. but the team which started this whole fucked up spiral? chelsea. and well before that you had real madrid, but they were just one team and could only soak up so many players, so it was okay.
