I thought Bolland was a good draw man, but apparently hed be the worst o nthe team hahaha. usage charts show that grabs was eating a ridiculous amount of defensive draws. not that hes a bad draw man, but that is the one thing bozak does better, but they used him on offense more. all their forwards started in their own end more than offense because the team was so bad at driving possession (which is intersting bc they were a top 10 forward group as far as goals--go figure) no matter how you cut it, keeping grabs and letting him walk made more sense. grabs used to be a 600 draw a seaosn guy for them until carylyle popped a boner for him Steckel! Yeah I agree, it was one or the other. But Bozak has shown he can produce under Carlyle's system and Grabovski clearly revealed he didn't, so while Bozak is a much shittier offensive player he still fits in with the team more, esp. with the face offs. We have a ridiculously good offensive rush because of Kessel's speed scaring defenders, Kadri's learning how to play in the NHL, Lupul is bloody random, JVR is tall and can crash the net, and we've developed a really nice forecheck (obv not to the level of Boston, but it's starting to look really nice). Also, teams are/were scared of Komarov/Orr, and Gardiner/Kadri are only going to get much better as time goes on. We just have no ability to win faceoffs, which is why Bozak can command such a ridiculous play despite having no offensive talent (except he seems to be the only guy on our team who can score in the shootout). I would happily wager that Tor finishes 7th or wosre. The second comment was clearly tounge and cheek. I don't actually think TSN changes there ranking based on where people Sign. I do think that non leafs fans don't realize how much coverage the Leafs get compared to the other canadian teams, esspecially when from a winning cups prospective they havn't been relevent in forever. Yes the media is harsh but not this time of the year. This is when they build up the leafs as a real contender. It takes till the actual game start for the harshness to begin. Not sure what your point is when a huge number of fans really like Toronto, so obviously a bit biased in that direction, plus being a Toronto based company doens't hurt I guess. It's not really about how much of a contender they are, but we're getting to the point where we can contend for PO spots, and they actually can beat any team when they play their system (which is kinda true even with the boston brain fart). It isn't like STL where they just have a really solid forwards but no ability to ever score on someone like Quick. All that said, Clarkson will be bought out in 2-3 years if he doesn't produce exceedingly well, which is possible. Bozak will be bought out if we ever sign a couple players who can take faceoffs just as well before the contract is up.

The latter, I could see not wanting to bite because he wanted 6m or osmething, but shit man. agreed. alfie has slowed down so much. detroit's top 6 is fucking old. They've always been pretty frigging old. >_<

But Boyd (Flash) Gordon and Labarbera are certainly useful signings. And so far they've managed not to give up anything that would cause my sphincter to rupture. I will miss Horcoff, but Gordon helps fill that whole. Still, if the Oilers wish to balance the team at all, they still require a decent top-pairing defenseman and another center. I'd rather see that accomplished via trade than overpaying on FAs. Also, don't fucking trade Paajarvi you assholes.

Second point is, predicting is more art then science but you should have some idea of your teams performance before you sign contracts. Case in point Kessel trade then signage from Boston. It would have been a good deal if they were a playoff team. Because they finished in bottom 5 it was a awful deal. Same thing with these signings its like they think they are one player away from the cup, when they may miss the playoffs. You don't squeeze yourself up against the cap wall unless you can legitimitly win the cup. Do you really think Toronto is there? Of course you don't look at your other posts. The best thing you said was Tor has stupid money available. And look they spent it stupidly! No it's derp because you have no merit and you come off as a dumbass. That's the point. You call out the media outlets yet you don't even call out the right one!?!?! You know who did call Mr. Clarkson the number one guy as a FA? It was Sportsnet you derp! Who do you think owns Sportsnet? Who do you think owns TSN? Where do you think they're located? Dare I continue? You state things as if they're fact when all your doing is firing blank bullets. You came off as an idiot and I called you out on it. Simple. You need to be slapped around with frozen tuna.

Great Job on becomeing right near the cap 10th-7th place team! On July 06 2013 02:59 JimmiC wrote: I'm sure TSN made him there #1 free agent once tor signed him. The Toronto Sports Network is only a little biased Need I say more. I called out your stupidity now own up to it. If you're going to call out a network at least call out the right one and continue being an ass clown because I take great pride in cutting people like you down to size.

Secondly comming all agressive on the internet also makes it look like you are totally over compensation for something, I have a few guess's on what. Considering your self an expert and typing in players nickname instead of names doens't make you one. I havn't read all your posts but the one's I have read havn't impressed me. It's not like you are providing insight. You're baically agreeing that Tor over paid and then mad that I say they shouldn't LOL ??? I was clearly talking about the media outlets. Not the stupid contract. Your beef with them is irrational and heck, you called out the wrong outlet bucko. Own up to it. I don't care about the other shit. You can call them the Maple Luffs for all I care.
