Erickson who had 29 points last year and over 70 in the past 2 AND is one the best defensive forwards in the league. Plus 3 middle of the road prospects.

Problem with upside is there is no garuntee and the best predictor of future preformance is past preformance. Look at oilers last 2 years tehy are expected to "turn" the corner, hasn't happened. Will it? Maybe, but I would rather have a sure thing then a maybe.

No time for middle of the road propects. Tons of superstars were at one point middle of the road prospects. It's near impossible to project how these guys will turn out, thats why the best teams stock up on tons so that hopefully they hit on a couple.

There is no way Bos in a win now mode would want what ANA got over what they got. You may do your own research but if this what you are coming up wiht I wouldn't be taking credit for it.
