People wrote the Leafs off saying we would be swept easily and that we didn't even deserve to be in the playoffs. A lot of it being because it was Toronto. Vancouver always enters as favourites, fails, and then makes piss poor excuses for their bad play. We actually went way above expectations. I mean we only what? MAnaged to take the Bruins--same team that raped the Rags and swept the powerhouse Pens--to game 7, being down 3-1 in the series and up 4-1 with 10 minutes to go in the final game. Considering that we scored 18 goals and a stacked, powerouse Pitts only 2 against Boston, speaks wonder for the effort our team gave and I WILL rub it in because of the shit Toronto gets from everyone else in the league year in, year out. Am I saying we would have won the SC if x,y,z occurred? No. But this time we deserve a ton of credit where its due. | ||

I think when he says "Dont pull a Vancouver" he means the Canucks fans habbits of saying "we lost in the playoffs only to eventual SC champions" referring of course to Chicago, LA and Boston. | ||
