After doing some "digging" on the situation and had many a laugh at reading the press articles, I'm pretty sure we are no where near knowing where Mr Mourinho will end up next season, but what it does look like, it is a two way shoot out between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain for where he will manage. I think it will be a fun May for football fans, and quite a circus in the silly English and French press with stories being thrown around left and right. What i do hope, that the on story of Torres going back to Atletico Madrid is true. They look certain to lose Mr Falcao in the summer, opening up a fairly decent wage slice which Torres would easily accept. Then hopefully (for his sake) he will rediscover his form and help keep Atletico Madrid competitive in La Liga and their little El Nino will be back as a god again.

![]() Anyway yeah,Torres for Falcao seems like a great swap for all parties involved. Like you said, if Torres rediscovers his form, which should be more likely in his hometown than anywhere else, he is a top striker and Falcao seems to be able to score anywhere he goes.

But it is not going to just be Torres for Falcao will be Torres +20-25million for Falcao, which is more than fair? You get (potentially) a world class striker for a world class striker and money to help their debt situation xD On March 26 2013 19:20 Maenander wrote: Montenegro vs England has now become a classic football rivalry xD Due to England being so shit, they take games vs Montenegro as "hard" "tough" international fixtures...because we are that bad, it quite sickens me at how much the press jump on everything and blow it all out of proportion. It's a joke >.< we should be turning these over 4/5-0 on paper, but because it's England and our pansy footballers can't handle the slightest bit of pressure to go out and do what they do for their clubs week in week out, it all turns to shit. Quite embarrassing if you ask me ![]() How on earth we drew with both Poland and Ukraine and got ourselves into this position in the first place is another story too. It is not hard to win these games with the kind of players England actually have to choose from, the reason we don't who knows, but i can't point the finger at the manager just yet....

Obviously Falcao's 59appearances and 45goals is quite outstanding xD but i don't see Torres being to shy of that if he hits his form from his previous years there, with Adrian and co around him like Falcao has xD But it is not going to just be Torres for Falcao will be Torres +20-25million for Falcao, which is more than fair? Every player from England seems to play in a different system, and they're brought in to the national team. Look at Spain and Germany as the teams to beat, they're basically each made up of 2 teams from their league (Bayern/Dortmund, RM/Barca). It's all-star team syndrome. No 2 players from the back four are from the same team. MU has 3 midfielders on the roster, but they don't start, the starting mids are all from different squads. But at least your team has quality players, with the US we just have to pray that Dempsey does something great every game or its incredibly boring... unless they're in snow up to their ankles like last week, that's fun for everyone.

Like the biggest load of crap i have heard in any footballing chat/punditry/analysis is that Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard cannot play CM together, it's crap. They can, and they could if they are allowed to do so, im pretty sure, Lampard and Gerrard arguably two of the best CMs England have ever produced cannot tell each other, you go up this time ill stay back, or something else tactical then i give up on professional footballers having the slight bit of a brain in their heads. Im pretty confident they will start together tonight in fact anyway, needing to actually win a game, their should be no need to play Cleverly next to Gerrard, they should give Lampard the first 60minutes atleast.

That may well be true, but the fact is that they rarely if ever have played well together. and if it was really as simple as you say it is then either Lampard and Gerrard are numbskulls or just dont give a shit. Either way it doesnt look to good. Lets see.

In the last matches in which England was competitive, the Gerrard/Lampard combination yielded five wins, two draws and two losses, a win percentage of 55 percent. Is the best information i can find on when they have played together, on a competitive level.

The 'problem' is that the club culture is so huge there that the national team suffers. Look at Spain, during the season Barça and Madrid are always fighting (on the field, out of the field), but when the national team time comes up they're united. And I agree that having 6-7 players from Barça + 3-4 from Madrid, and the same in Germany with Dortmund/Bayern, must really help.
