It's been part of football since the beginning of the game, get over it. France's Valbuena is a professional diver, 10 times worse than any player of today's Spanish 11. | ||

Notice how he bends his knee even before anyone touches him. He forced his fall with the intention of getting a penalty kick. | ||

Well if Lloris doesn't shoot both his legs, you can give him a yellow for faking. But if he does, you give a penalty. What if he injures Pedro? Still nothing? Pff... Tired of people waiting for legs to be broken to signal fouls... Anyway my point is not to say if there is penalty or not, referees can make mistakes. But then don't ask a team to say absolutely nothing after this kind of decision, France would have done the same. | ||

I'm really liking the emphasis on the youth that Van Gaal is bringing (I guess they had no other choice after the EC) and hope it continues into the WC which they almost cannot miss anymore. | ||

Two footed tackle on Pedro and he was clearly tripped. You're right they dive too often, but it came back to bite them in this case. If the ref didn't have it in the back of his mind that would have been a penalty. The commentators couldn't understand how it wasn't given. At least the game is decent, England/Montenegro 2nd half is crap, Mont. look like they're going to equalize. | ||
