If you get praised for others good decisions, this also helps  From what I read (german source), it was the croatian and serbain FA who decided this, though I imagine they will have spoken to the FIFA/UEFA about it in process. | ||

Writing this while waiting for the game. Both the Serbian and Croatian FA are under strict probation because of numerous incidents of hooliganism. Having away fans would be insanity and get everybody banned, a third of the stadium would have to be on lock down to create a buffer zone between fans, not to mention they would need a military escort through the entire country. No way that can pass without incidents, no way. Tensions are high, there has never been a winner between these two teams since the breakup of Yugoslavia, never, nobody want to be part of the first team that lost. Every single game has been marred by incidents on every imaginable level. Newspapers have been going on for days in both countries about all the wrongs that have been done to their people ect. Shit ton of Croatian police that will have more than enough problems with their own fans (from 'normal' hooligans to the extremists/fascists) to bring away fans to this match, they have more than a hand full of problems protecting the Serbian players/officials Would write more but the game is starting  EDIT: The whole stadium chanting 'kill the Serb' is a given. Expect more of the same shit when they play in Belgrade, it's like Serbian and Croatian fans exist only to embarrass their own countries EDIT2: On a lighter note Cuneyt Cakir is refereeing the match, I wonder which team gets the red card? ^^ | ||

I even tend to prefer english streams (where from my little experience it's funnily the other way around; when a british plays a straight pass, its automatically world class).
