Problem is the top teams in those leagues in terms of league play are so much better than everyone else of the bat its difficult for alot of people to be interested regardless of the general quality of play Also having a brand name isnt necessarily a bad thing, any league would at the drop of a hat drop quality for better coverage. PL hasnt even had to do that, you cant blame them for being more popular. Sure English and all helps but still the PL being a bigger brand if anything only serves to make it a better league and improve its position in terms of quality as a league so its not fair to just call it that.

Chelsea No1 Team In The World Game The top 20 sides in the world 1. Chelsea (307) 2. Atletico Madrid (304) 3. Bayern Munich (292) 4. Corinthians (287) 5. Barcelona (283) 6. Boca Juniors (281) 7. Real Madrid (277) 8. Juventus (241) 9. Inter Milan (234) 10. Sao Paulo (230) 11. Universidad de Chile Santiago (223) 12. Fluminense (222) 13. Basel (220) 14. Fenerbahce (216) = Lazio 16. Dortmund (215) 17. Lyon (214) 18. PSG (210) 19. Manchester United (205) = Club Libertad Asuncion = Celtic Other English sides in the top 100 25. Liverpool (200) 37. Tottenham (186) 50. Arsenal (169) 56. Man City (161) 65. Newcastle (152) Chelsea are the best team in the world, while Real Madrid are the seventh best and Manchester United are 19th. This is according to the International Federation of Football History and Statistics, an organisation recognised and supported by, although not affiliated with, FIFA. Their latest Club World Rankings, accounting for results between March 1 2012 and February 28 2013, have produced some results that seem bizarre. The rankings are calculated by including results from national league matches, continental and intercontinental competitions and the most important national cup competition, ignoring results before the last 16 phase. Results are awarded points depending on the level of competition. A draw in a national league game is worth two points and a win is four. Champions League draws and wins are worth seven and 14 respectively, while Club World Cup semi-finals are worth the same. A win in the Club World Cup final is worth 21 points - which explains how high up Corinthians are. Source GG No1 Team World Fact!!

Rooney needs to go to Barca, then the team would be with no flaw, having someone that can dunk it with force from outside the area instead of passing the ball around all the damn time. Or Falcao.

With transfer prices steadily rising, I think its a fair price if a team really needed a second striker (is that what Rooney does nowadays?). That being said, I don't think any team is really in dire need for a player like Rooney at the moment, but some clubs seem to like throwing money at transfers which don't exactly fill needed areas on the team.

edit: that Mila Kunis interview is amazing, you can see that guy basically falling in love with her during her 45 second speech answering all the questions he'd planned to ask without him having to talk.

Messi scores from outside the box pretty often. Though I get your point. He doesn't really do any of those 30 yard rockets. That aside, come on Wenger, buy Rooney! We'll win so many trophies that he can melt them down and make a statue of himself.
