Another thing I've been chewing on: Bale is getting all the headlines right now, but quietly (for him) Ronaldo is playing just out of his mind, completely carrying almost every game. Last Clasico, even though it was mostly reserves playing for Madrid, Ronaldo comes on and it's like instantly the entire game tilted from Barcelona being steadily in control into RM's favor. Though probably if you have to trust one opposing coach to know how to play him, it would be SAF. Also how terrifying would Bale and Ronaldo be in the same side? Though would take some tactical adjustment to get them to fit.

Therefore I'm asking. Who do you guys prefer? Edit: Let me elaborate a bit: I think Scholes has a better passing and shooting ability, also he's capable of heading which Seedorf never was. My friend said that Seedorf is more regular, while being more physically present in the game.

Can we invent a time machine and make this happen in an alternate universe? He would be like Neuer...but I would venture to say probably better. b) I agree, I have seen many games recently where Ronaldo takes up about 50% of the 'best plays' highlight reel of the game. c) I also think that Fergie has a psychological effect on Ronaldo. It can either go one of two ways: Ronaldo gets flustered and fucks up, OR he goes on an unstoppable rampage. d) That would be a sight to behold. Fullbacks would need oxygen after 10 minutes. What a team: ---------------------Benzema---------------- CR7 -----------------Ozil---------------Bale Has so many different ways of attacking. Then you add in Di Maria, Kaka, Higuain and Modric as subs. Fearsome.

Also, even though he was the one "stopping him" he didn't really stop him that much. He was forever 1on1 with Rafael in the first half and he scored and had numerous chances. It depends how this game is going to play out though, i can see Mourinho trying to counter united, but i can also see united just sitting back and holding out and countering too....xD will be interesting for sure.

Chelsea confirm discussions with Frank Lampard over extending Stamford Bridge contract Chelsea have confirmed they are in talks with Frank Lampard about an extension to his contract. The 34-year-old's current deal is up at the end of the season, and until recently there appeared little prospect of a new one. But it emerged recently his form had forced Chelsea to rethink, and chief executive Ron Gourlay said: "Discussions are ongoing and must be kept confidential at this stage." Lampard has scored 10 Premier League goals for the 10th consecutive season and now has 199 for the club - just three fewer than record scorer Bobby Tambling. Captain John Terry last month led the calls for Lampard to stay, describing his team-mate as "an inspiration to everyone at the club". Source

Funny thing is......Ron Gourlay (our chief executive) has back tracked on that comment, and is now saying he was miss quoted. Whether or not he is doing so as he doesn't want people to know Lampard is having discussions or whether or not he was actually miss quoted Chelsea have denied reports they have opened talks with midfielder Frank Lampard over an extension to his contract. The 34-year-old's current deal is up at the end of the season with his time at Stamford Bridge seemingly drawing to a close. He has been in impressive form recently though, with the club's hierarchy understood to be considering opening talks on a new contract. But Chelsea insist chief executive Ron Gourlay was misquoted at a press conference in Bangkok when asked about Lampard's future at the club. Source

Anyway...I'm just crossing every finger and toe I have that Jose will come back to Chelsea. I was talking to a fellow blues fan today about what effect he would have. He would help develop Oscar and Hazard into incredible players. And I am convinced he would know who to bring in and would help with the terrible defensive errors often caused by lack of focus that we suffer. He would whip Luiz into shape as well. And seeing as we have 3 top brazilians and two great spaniards, it makes sense that we have a man who is fluent in spanish and is native portuguese. He would become their best friend and be hugely respected by them, just like Schneijder, Ronaldo, Deco, Lampard, Terry etc have all respected him. Also we were discussing about Bale, I doubt AVB is the sort of guy who will be able to guide his development like a Fergie, Jose or dare I say it Wenger would (also Pep). I wonder if he will be tempted away from Spurs purely on the basis that he will improve as a player under better, more experienced managers. Although I'm sure that Daniel Levy's main argument for Bale to stay is simply appealing to his ego: 'you are the biggest player in the club, and guaranteed of a starting position, why do you want to go anywhere where you will have to share the spotlight!'

Bale needs to get out of Spurs, 1; so Spurs go back to being shit 2; so he can get out of England 3; so he can improve. Send him to Real with there new manager!
