not with the support the independence has today.
It has been a claim of part of the population , but the lack of acknowledgment from the rest of spain made the feeling grow.
Theres a referendum by the end of this month with "Anticiped Elections" (guess i can call it like that... its not a good translation probably) and most of the parties are going into this with segregation from spain in their agendas.
Im normally very tolerant with people ideology. But today It was too far. The stadium with Catalonia Senyera drawn in the seats, the "Independence" chants, etc. Lot of people in Spain are starting to hate the club.
They should care more about Barcelona fans from outside of Catalonia, like me.

Mourinho is a god.
remember when RM lost 5-0 to Barca under mourihno?
yeah his first one
Thank you for proving my point.
Fortunately for all of us 3 years ago wasnt a lifetime ago. Its recent. I still remember when El Classico's were one way traffic for Real and then for Barca and then Real again, (thats alot of Gods.. Van Gaal, Del Bosque, Rikjaard, Capello, Heyckness maybe even Hiddink).
There was also a period immediately prior to 08-09 within the last decade where Barca barely ever got even close to winning Classico's. The Ronnie years being an exception. You can check that record for yourself. It was quite the misery for most people who supported the club and the Camp Nou was at times a more unsavory place then it might be now.
Its not like they got pummeled ofcourse but they rarely if ever won. Which in itself wasnt a big deal because there were quite a few drawn games but Real Madrid on a broader level was a significantly stronger club and winning a classico was all Barca could realistically look forward to. The lack of depth and poor management basically meant a strong CL run could be hoped for but winning the thing unlikely, and sometimes even just qualifying for CL was stretched to final day drama. League performance was even more depressing.
Classicos had only really been one way traffic for like what ? 3 odd years. Those sorts of periods of relative head to head superiority between the clubs has been cyclical forever now. Its to be expected.
Its the natural order of things, teams improve other teams observe , analyse, catchup and so on, especially with the resources Madrid has at its disposal its rather surprising it took so long. Mourinho is arguably the best manager of the last decade but I wouldnt cream my pants over it.
