UEFA
These cases involve the following 23 clubs: FK Borac Banja Luka (BIH) FK Sarajevo (BIH) FK Željezničar (BIH) PFC CSKA Sofia (BUL) HNK Hajduk Split (CRO) NK Osijek (CRO) Club Atlético de Madrid (ESP) Málaga CF (ESP) Maccabi Netanya FC (ISR) FK Shkendija 79 (MKD) Floriana FC (MLT) FK Budućnost Podgorica (MNE) FK Rudar Pjevlja (MNE) Ruch Chorzów (POL) Sporting Clube de Portugal (POR) FC Dinamo Bucureşti (ROU) FC Rapid Bucureşti (ROU) FC Vaslui (ROU) FC Rubin Kazan (RUS) FK Partizan (SRB) FK Vojvodina (SRB) Eskişehirspor (TUR) Fenerbahçe SK (TUR)
Consequently, the CFCB investigatory chamber will continue their investigations and request these clubs to provide an updated situation as of 30 September 2012 with regards to overdue payables towards other clubs, employees and social/tax authorities.
I wonder when UEFA starts more drastic measures if teams failed to provide needed information. Yes its old news from few weeks ago.

So is it safe to say the Refs are deciding who wins and loses in La Liga, why not just wear team patches instead of FIFA logos? Barca versus Sevilla FC a prime example.
It can't be just Sevilla newspapers being outraged at this, right?

It can't be just Sevilla newspapers being outraged at this, right? No, the general consensus (n00bs) seems to criticism fabregas for his dramatic display. However, it is clear the other player showed an attempt to head butt. You can clearly see his head dip down, it wasn't face on face like many believe it seems. It doesn't seem like the headbutt was very effective at all but that's not the point. It's all about the intention. The ball was dead and the sevilla player attempted to attack fabregas. The end. The way fabregas play reacted is irrelevant. I agree that it's dishonorable to fake like that, but that's what you have to do sometimes to get the refs attention or else many things like this can go uncalled. Anyway, what the sevilla player did was absolutely a straight red card. If you don't believe so, may i suggest to you UFC?

Messi is such an assist machine as well. I haven't seen a forward that capable of scoring and setting others up since Henry.

If your not going to explain why hes wrong (he is, for the most part anyway) then it doesnt really contribute very much. I think he articulated his argument reasonably even if I don't agree with him. What hes describing does infact happen and has happened.
Doesnt mean its ok to start faking like that ofcourse not, but getting kicked around and being frustrated when there's so much at stake gets the better of everyone and quite often too it seems.
But drivel like "spoken like a true fanboy". Is not something anyone should be taking seriously if someone took the time to explain themselves atleast offer back that courtesy.
You know, like this...

The guy 100% headbutt fabregas... even if it wasn't very hard at all, it's still a headbutt which is a direct red card always. It's the intention that counts most here, it's clear his intent was to headbutt him... So funny you guys all getting mad over a person who deliberately tried to harm another player like that... even if it wasn't very effective. He pressed his head against Fabregas, both players were moving towards each other with no intent of moving aside. It was just a claim your space macho thing. Not very clever, but no real intent of harming another player and Fabregas just used the little bit of contact to get his opponent sent off for something which is no more than a yellow card. Just as shameful as Rivaldo in 2002 IMO Now this is a headbutt: + Show Spoiler +
Its in some ways pretty similar to the way Shelvey got Red carded, it was a retarded move but from both of the, either you send em both off for doing stupid shit or you dont send off either and just play a drop. But whoever whines the most gets the benefit of the doubt and thats just how it is until they implement some serious retroactive punishment for this shit.

what exactly dont you agree w tho reb ? I've already made clear that i think it's not good for the sport for players to do such things as play acting. But its ignorant not to instead focus the hate on that player committing the heinous act to begin with which ends up resulting in players like fabregas pretty much being forced to adjust solely for these types of situations. You guys cry at fabregas when all he's doing is ultimately protecting himself and his teammates while at the same time making it more likely the referee reacts and provides justice for the other player's out of line aggression. sometimes i wonder if any of you have actually played soccer because if you did you'd realize how heated games like these get, especially at this level and any angle that these players can take, some of them will, just like the sevilla player, followed immediately by fabregas. lucky for barca, fabregas realized the malicious intent and play acted to ensure attention. Just don't forget that all of this was because off the sevilla player allowing the heat of the moment to get to him and thus essentially, attacking another player which will always be a direct red.
lol sharkie, is it possible to take someone seriously if these use the word n00b? i use that word in my everyday life, so sue me

oh i get it, you guys dont consider what he did a head butt. well, i guess i would. in fact, i'd go as far as to say that id be willing to bet a substantial amount of money that at least 8/10 professional referees would consider what the sevilla player did a straight red.. but of course that's just pure speculation from me so meh, whatevz.

Fuck. Looks like another injury for Puyol, and it looks bad. Damn bad luck he's been having lately.

that's basically exactly fergie time. because fergie time = lots of time added if united is chasing a goal, low amount of time added if united is in the lead. considering united got second in the league, they were leading far more frequently than they were behind - hence the average added time will be on the lower end for united. that is, if you believe in the concept of fergie time.

Also its no secret Martin Tyler jizzes multiple times in succession (despite his advanced age) when United score in Fergie time.

Wow Bayern lost quite badly to BATE Borisov.
Well it was only a matter of time till Badstuber on the left would cost them a game. Still can't believe Bayern spending millions for forwards/midfield and nothing for a good left back (or right back depending on where Lahm plays)

he made the barca defense look so much more solid in this game vs benfica than it had been in their last 7 games... sigh
