Not so familiar with the spanish league but in Germany there would be a lot of fuzz about it until something happens.

![]() God damn that Fab shit ticks me off. Dude used to be a hero to me back in London. Should be a suspension for such ridiculousness (not bloody likely). I expect/hope that Medel's suspension will be cut short, because that is absolutely not a red card.

Unlike all these drogbas and cristianos and what have you.

Jesus, are people still spouting this horseshit? Messi might not do it as often, but I remember last season vs. Real Sociedad, 2-2 in extra time, Messi blatantly takes a dive in the box. Also he's done almost the exact same thing as Fabregas just did. + Show Spoiler + Granted there's a little bit of hit here, but oh my god so much pain ... dying... Some others where he goes over ridiculously easily

When the stakes get higher, players are more desperate to cheat. Which is why video evidence needs to come in and counter this. Imagine if a player who dived got a red card if video evidence was required for it to be seen? Goodbye diving! Unfortunately fair-play isn't as high on the FIFA agenda as asking more money.

No, what he does is asking the refs for fouls and penalties and stuff, cause he's messi the best player ever, he can get away with everything and people listen to him. But he almost never dives.

It's the intention that counts most here, it's clear his intent was to headbutt him... So funny you guys all getting mad over a person who deliberately tried to harm another player like that... even if it wasn't very effective. He pressed his head against Fabregas, both players were moving towards each other with no intent of moving aside. It was just a claim your space macho thing. Not very clever, but no real intent of harming another player and Fabregas just used the little bit of contact to get his opponent sent off for something which is no more than a yellow card. Just as shameful as Rivaldo in 2002 IMO Now this is a headbutt: + Show Spoiler + ![]()
