+ Show Spoiler + I'm pretty happy with my snatch form, and with my clean, I'm finally not going forward on the catch. The jerk still needs work lol but I'll get it. Went for a heavy single on the c&j and got up to 90kg on the first try. Also since I'm switching over to a cross fit gym I turned around so I wouldn't see myself in the mirror lol, I think it actually helped not looking at myself. Last vid from me until I hit 100kg c&j!

My cj was terrible in warm ups coach told me he's never seen someone warm up so bad and them change completely on the platform. Found the 165 on someone else's name lol

(cross post from tlhf) My lifts from the Arnold. Not my best meet. Big step up from my performance at the open though.

BW 100kg, 16y/o Sn 80, 86, 90(3kg PR) CJ 104, 110 (4kgPR), 113x Had that 113 too, didn't recover well. A little under a year ago, I had my first meet. Hurt my knee screwing around with my buddies playing rugby the day before and did a crappy 2/6 65/85. Was so disappointed with that meet, but this one was pretty great! Will post video when I get it from organizers.

http://www.dartfish.tv/Player.aspx?CR=p90777c60150m1382415 I don't like to think of it as sweeping, but more of keeping correct body positions and shitting your balance backwards to accommodate for the heavy weight in front of you, resulting in both you and the bar traveling backwards

I've always thought the correct way is to pull the bar straight up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZR2tolczAo edit: here's a clean & jerk of mine. The man knows what he's talking about when it comes to olympic lifting.
